1: INT. MY HOUSE DAY

FADE IN:

March 5th, 2009. I was sitting on the couch with my Dad watching TV when we suddenly saw Michael Jackson on the screen. My eyes lit up, he was my idol.

REPORTER: (On TV) We've got some breaking news for you this morning. Pop icon Michael Jackson has just announced a 10 date residency at London's famous O2 Arena. Jackson states that these will be his concert performances. Let's take a look.

MICHAEL JACKSON: (On TV) This is it! This is it! I just wanna say that these will be my final show performances in London. This will be it, and when I say this is it, it really means this is it. I'll be, I'll be performing the songs my fans wanna hear. This is it, I mean this is really it. This is the final curtain call. I'll see you in July.

REPORTER: (On TV) There you have it folks, Michael Jackson has just announced his comeback. Tickets are set to go on sale starting March 11th.

ME: Dad, can we go?

Dad didn't answer me, he just kept watching the TV.

ME: Daddy?

DAD: Huh? Oh, I don't know, we'll see.

Usually, whenever my Dad said "we'll see" or "maybe", that automatically meant no. So realistically, we probably wouldn't've gone anyway, but this is a fan fic, so I can do whatever the hell I want! So let's pretend we went. Moving on.

ME: (Sighs and jumps down from the couch) That means no.

DAD: Baby, I said we'll see. Your bus is here, have a good day at school. (kisses my head)

ME: (I leave)

MOM: (To Dad) You know she's not gonna let this go, right? She's gonna keep asking til we give her an answer.

DAD: I know but isn't it only in London? I'm not going all the way to London to see Michael Jackson.

MOM: Oh hell no, I don't even have a passport, and I sure as hell ain't getting one to see Wacko Jacko.

DAD: I think she thinks that this is an actual tour. Google it, see if he plans on coming here.

MOM: (Googles it) Oh wow, it looks like they've added 40 more dates. He's doing 50 total.

DAD: Is he doing an American leg?

MOM: (Reads further) Yeah, it looks like he's doing North America only, and he's coming to TD Garden on July 22nd.

DAD: TD Garden? That's not bad. What do you think?

MOM: I mean, I don't like Jacko, but I guess I could suck it up for Rachael.

DAD: How much are the tickets though? Probably expensive, right?

MOM: Tickets go on sale next week, we'll have to wait til then.

DAD: Ok, but don't tell her about this, I don't want her to get her hopes up for nothing.
