2: INT. MY HOUSE DAY
DISSOLVE TO:
One week later, March 11th. Tickets have gone on sale.
MOM: (Comes downstairs to find Dad on the computer) Hey, tickets go on sale yet?
DAD: Yeah, they're almost gone. Standard tickets are $105, but the good seats are pretty much gone. We'd have a blocked view of the stage.
MOM: (Sighs) Damn. I don't want her only Michael Jackson concert to be in shitty seats. Is anything else available?
DAD: Just VIP tickets.
MOM: (Sarcastically) Great, how much are those?
DAD: (Shakes his head) $1,100. We can't afford that.
MOM: (Thinks) Well... Maybe we could ask Steve, or maybe Sheila. I mean it's a lot, but maybe we can make it happen if we all pitch in.
DAD: I really hate asking for that kind of money.
MOM: I know, I do too, but if this really is his last tour then I think we should just suck it up and go for it. Everybody knows how much she loves him. This would probably be the most amazing thing anyone could do for her.
DAD: You're right, I'll call my brother and see what we can do.
MOM: Remember, not a word to Rachael about this. I don't want her to be crushed if this doesn't happen.
3: INT. MY HOUSE DAY
FADE IN:
A few days later...
DAD: (Comes in) We did it, we got the tickets!
MOM: That's awesome! She's gonna be so excited!
DAD: Should we give them to her now?
MOM: No, let's wait til her birthday. It'll be closer to the date of the show.
