In early age, Chaewon have been able to see spirits that is why people are freaking out when with her. They even called her name like 'freak' because she always looking at empty spot and sometimes talking to the air.
She doesn't have friends kaya nasanay na lang syang laging spirit ang nakakausap at nakakasama nya. She sometimes encountered a bad spirit but to her luck, some good spirits always at her back protecting her from bad spirits.
Until middle school happened where she met a very weird and interesting person. Weird dahil ibang iba sya tratuhin nito compared to others who looking at her weirdly.
Kim Minju, a transferee from South Korea. A half korean half filipino.
"Hi! It's almost two months when school starts but we still not close yet so I want to be friends with you" Ika ni Minju na may mga ngiti sa kanyang labi. Chaewon glared at her pero Minju smile still the same.
Naweirduhan don si Chaewon kaya naman nag alinlangan syang tumango kay Minju.
"Hindi ka ba naw-weirduhan sa akin?" Tanong ni Chaewon.
"Why would I?" Minju immediately answers Chaewon's question with question.
"People keep saying I'm weird dahil I can see spirits" Sagot ni Chaewon.
"So what? I can understand dogs too even plants. Alam mo yung puno na yon" Pointing at the tree outside of the window of their classroom "She's old" tuloy nya na nagpatawa ng kaunti kay Chaewon.
"It's looks like old naman na talaga kasi" Chaewon said that makes Minju laugh.
"We can be friends na right?" Minju asked with sparks on her eyes.
"Are you sure hindi ka naw-weirduhan sa akin?" Paninigurado ni Chaewon.
"A hundred percent yes" Minju said habang tumatango.
"Okay. Let's be friend, Minju"
Chaewon everyday routine ay nabago because of this certain girl who keep messing Chaewon's life but in a good way.
Their friendship grew, nasasanay na si Chaewon na Minju were always there to make her day chaotic because of her silliness.
She can't forget how Minju bark back from the dogs they passed by and then magugulat na lang si Chaewon na hinahabol na sila ng mga aso.
She also always making silly stories like 'pagsabay sabay daw tumalon lahat ng tao sa mundo, lilindol daw based from physics' she also makes cringy and old jokes like 'Pag kumikidlat, nagpaparty lang daw si Papa G' and many more.
It still going on hanggang Senior High. They don't have the same strand pero she still keep messing Chaewon's life and she still let her.
Their friendship grew deeply, Chaewon already explained how and when she got able to see ghost. Minju at first was scared when Chaewon said that Yujin, Chaewon's ghost friend are beside her and had a crush on her. Hanggang sa nasanay na lang si Minju.
But during senior high, their friendship shift in romantic way.
People still had these weird look to Chaewon while Minju had a long line of suitors and admirers.
One day in School Canteen, one of the richest, famous, and smart suitors of Minju walking towards their table with flowers and chocolates.
"Hey Minju, can I talk to you?" Mark said, her suitors.
Minju and Chaewon were face to face kaya naman tumingin muna si Minju kay Chaewon asking for permission. Chaewon nodded.
Chaewon actually thought that Minju will go outside with the guy pero mali pala sya ng inakala.
