CAROLINES POV:
Caroline stayed up all night not being able to believe her own eyes. She made out with Klaus. Klaus mikealson. Thinking about it Caroline wanted him to be the last thing she wanted to think about. But things changed?
Klaus never sleeps since he's an Hybrid, but he pretends to sleep. it also counts for normal vampires but Caroline cherishes her sleep. Sleep was important to her.
The blond baby vampire went down to the kitchen to get a bloodbag from the fridge. She liked blood type B, her friends didn't like it so they never had blood type B in their fridge. But since Klaus used to be obsessed with Caroline he always kept blood type B special for her.
she opened the fridge and her eyes spotted her favourite blood type. Blood type B, maybe Klaus cares about her after all so there was no need for overthinking.
As she grabbed the blood bag she heard someone close by her. she slurped the blood bag as she turned around she saw the hybrid. "Hungry love?" he asked.
Caroline nodded looking in to his bright blue eyes.
Klaus chuckles
"what are you doing up so late anyway?" she asked.
"me? Oh love you know I never sleep." He replied.
"well thats no surprise." She says.
"Since when do you still keep blood type B in your fridge. You don't even like blood type B." She questioned.
"Well I've kept them for guests or whenever someone came over. Someone like you." He smiled.
"So uhm.. Are you and Hayley in a relationship or something?" The baby vampire asked.
"Are you jealous?" Klaus chuckled.
"And no I'm not in a relationship with her. We used to. We only banged like once, then we had a child but we both decided to abort it." He said looking completely fine about it.
"first of all I'm not jealous and second oh." she said.
"shocking much?" He asked her.
"I- I don't know what to say" she chuckled awkwardly.
Hayley woke up and went downstairs.
"hey you guys. What are you guys doing up so late?"
She asked curiously.
"hello love!" Klaus smiled at Hayley.
"hey!" She smiled back to the hybrid.
"I uh- I should probably go to bed. okay bye."
Caroline went back upstairs.
"what's up with her? Vampires don't even sleep??" Hayley asked the hybrid.
"Uh I don't know." Klaus said coldly worrying about Caroline.
Caroline wasn't going to sleep. She was confused sad and angry. How could Klaus call Hayley love when their not even in a relationship?! She wouldn't admit it but deep inside she knew she felt jealousy. Maybe she deserved it. She rejected Klaus so many times.
"he probably already moved on from me." Caroline said shoving her pillow onto her face.
I don't think someone could ever love me.
"And I try so hard. I'm never the one." Caroline's voice cracks and starts to cry quietly into her pillow.
"Caroline stop crying." She said to herself.
she sighed and went to sleep wanting to go back in time. Cause somewhere deeply inside of her. There is a piece of her deep inside that genuinely cares about Klaus. Even tho she didn't want to admit it, it was true.
