The water was being moved rapidly by the three merpeople who were swimming away from the danger that they saw in the painter. The bubbles that their tails were creating went up to the surface of the water. Y/n was being kept close by her brother Shuya, who was keeping her hand tightly, guiding  her towards an underwater cavern, with the help of their loyal servant.  The cave was small, dark, and full of seaweed and small fishes. There was also some plastic, and very far away, the feeble light of a ship, a fishing  boat, probably. It could be fatal for them, but it was too far away to actually represent a danger, and so Shuya decided that worrying his little sister more than she already was wasn't a good idea.

If we take a peek on the surface, instead, Scaramouche wasn't really surprised anymore. He simply found something else to paint, other creatures to add to his artworks, and nothing more. He was still trying  to figure out what the strip made of white lace and pearls was. He surely didn't  think about a blindfold  his imagination was too vivid, maybe? Or perhaps he simply didn't  think about that. For what he knows about the object, it could be even a necklace or a piece of clothing that got ripped by something or someone.

He simply decided to let that thing be, and he just started to paint again before stopping and eating a packet of his beloved "Pocky" flavored with matcha and some water. He also decided to check his phone, and he found three missed calls and numerous messages that were just "where are you?", "What happened?" Or, "Are you okay?". The sender was his mother, Ei, that he hates. Tho he still lives with her and Ei's lover, which the painter hates even more. He just found her so selfish, fake, and whatever bad adjective he could think about. He wasn't THAT wrong since she never cared for him.

While scrolling through the messages that he received, he saw one message from her, Yae Miko, the woman that he can't stand  after his mother of course. It was a simple "come home" but he ignored it like usual. Why should him reply to someone that he barely knows? He turned off his phone and ate his packet of matcha Pocky silently while watching the orizon, but he was deep in his thoughts, thinking about everything and nothing.

In the meanwhile, our three merpeople were still hidden inside the cave. The fishing boat seems like he went back to the port after probably hours of fishing. "Shall we head back to the palace, prince?" The servant was the one who spoke, with his deep voice. He always refers to Shuya and Y/n with names like "prince", "princess", "young lady", "master" or things like that. He never dared to call them with just their names. It wasn't professional, he thought. "Yes, we should go home," eShuya answered with his calm and stern voice.

Both of them took Y/n's hand and brought her back to the castle. They swam with a steady pace towards the kingdom of Marasol, where their parents (and masters) rule.

The buildings made with corrals, sand, stone and other materials were fenced by a natural protection: the corral barrier, with all kind of beautiful  and colored corrals, together with pretty fishes, and some plastic, or other human waste. The kingdom of Marasol was big, influential, and strong in all ways; militarily, economically, and culturally. They had a strong army, made by all kind of strong and trained soldiers. Their money, Calle "Dobra". Their population was one with a healthy but rich education, regarding humans and merfolk, in a lot of subjects. We could say that Marasol was an enviable kingdom. The ones who rule this magical place also always assured that the territory was safe, clean, and  inclusive regarding disabilities, genders, sexual orientations, and such. Especially since Y/n lost her sight. This also led them to grow a form of heavy hatred towards the human race, and every contact with humans is forbidden. This is paradoxical, if we consider that one of the most important  museums of Marasol was the "Museum of Human Culture, Belongings and Life" (also known as "MHCBL") But most of the objects inside that museums are just some old and worthless stuff, such as CDs, clothes, bottles, money, and even some jewels.

In the middle of the kingdom, there was the royal palace; a huge building made with pink and blue corral, pearls, and shells. It hosts the market, the bank, and other important buildings, as well as the royal family, of course. All the areas that were reserved for the folk were the most external ones, like the residents of the royal family, and its servants were in the middle of it  protected from the world.

Y/n's and her brother were in her room, sleeping  because she had problems sleeping alone. Even if someone found that thing childish, she couldn't help but feel at ease. The servant, in the meanwhile, went back to do his work.
The poor mermaid, however, didn't notice that her blindfold was missing, because she grew used to having it on her face. Shuya decided to not tell her about that. He wanted to search it by himself.
