NASCAR announcement

All the drivers and there crew chiefs and spotters are sitting in a big conference room of a hotel in Daytona beach Florida.

Mike Hilton: thank you all for coming meaning thank you Craftsman truck series drivers and Xfinity Series Drivers and Cup Series drivers. Today me and the other leadership team members have an very big announcement pertaining to the nascar schedule. There will be no off week anymore there will be a race on Father's Day this year.

Joey Logano: are you serious common.
Christopher Bell: yeah common Mike why ya doing this to us all?
Mike Hilton: trust me you'll like what I'm about to say. There's a new NASCAR race track in the Racetrack Family. Janet please pull up the PowerPoint.
Janet: yes sir.
Janet pulls it up
Mike Hilton: so what your about to see is a new racetrack that will be opening early may. It's a speedway. I wasn't clear if it's a speedway or super speedway. But here's the first picture

Mike Hilton: Say Hello to Northwoods speedway Gavin Leatherwood: um Mike it's a Superspeedway.
Mike Hilton: OMG so I inquired to have a nascar racing weekend at a new Superspeedway? Anyways how do you know it's a Superspeedway?
Gavin Leatherwood okay cause my girlfriend is the one who had initiated the building of a new Superspeedway she owns it with me she had it built on her grandpas 8.2 acres of land he  passed away last January like literally the day after the Daytona 500.  Her mom is battling cancer. Her mom told my girlfriend she can do what she wants with her dads land as her mom was an only child so she decided to turn it into a super speedway with a big lake view 1 mile away from the Superspeedway.
Denny Hamilin: your kidding?
Gavin Leatherwood no I am not. If you all don't believe I can happily call my girlfriend right now.
Chase Elliott: yes why don't you call her cause I find it hard to believe your an owner of it.
Gavin calls his girlfriend Eliana Leblanc
Eliana Leblanc: hello?
Gavin Leatherwood: hey baby I'm at the mandatory all NASCAR meeting. No one believes me of the drivers that you own the raceway and I have ownership too.
Eliana Leblanc: great! Just what I needed to be hearing today. Put me on speaker phone I'll shout.
Gavin puts her on speaker phone
Eliana Leblanc: LISTEN UP ALL NASCAR DRIVERS! I AM THE OWNER OF NORTHWOODS SUPERSPEEDWAY! GAVIN IS ALSO OWNER OF IT! I LOOK FORWARD TO HOSTING YOUR RESPECTIVE SERIES OVER FATHERS DAY WEEKEND THIS YEAR! GOOD DAY!
Eliana Leblanc hangs up
Ryan Blaney: Oh my. William and I already knew about Gavin's girlfriends Northwoods Superspeedway up bettweb lac du flambeau Wisconsin and woodruff wisconsin.
Chase Briscoe: are you kidding how do you two know and we didn't know till today.
Gavin: cause Ryan and William are my two best friends we grew up best friends. So of course I'm not gonna keep something like that from my two best friends.
Justin Allgaier: well I'm pumped we get a chance at another potential win this season this will be awesome. Plus we'll all get to see the natural beauty of northern wisconsin. My mom and her boyfriend have a second home up there they have been going up every weekend this summer which is so unusual they usually go twice a month in the summer. OMG I'm gonna have to talk to my mon cause what I think is happening is pretty likely to happen.
AJ Almendinger: well I hope all goes well with that Justin.
Justin Allgaier: thank you AJ I appreciate it.

Mike Hilton: so I'll be sending your crew chiefs details for the weekend of Father's Day and they shall pass it along to all of you. It's a must. Have a nice rest of your day everyone. Oh and Gavin can you stick around I have some questions more in regards to the travel up to the raceway.
Gavin Leatherwood: um yes I can stick around.
Everyone leaves
Mike Hilton: so i was looking up the directions from the raceway before everyone goes to Northwoods Superspeedway and i saw this on the map not sure what exactly it means.
Mike Hilton shows Gavin the screenshot he took
Gavin Leatherwood: oh that's where the highway goes from a innerstate highway to a WI US highway so basically three lanes to one lane. I don't get why Wisconsin designed it like that.
Mike Hilton: anyways so your girlfriends grandpa lived in wisconsin on the land where Northwoods Superspeedway is on?
Gavin: yeah my girlfriends mom was born in Wausau Wisconsin and was raised on that land the Northwoods Superspeedway Racetrack is on. But my girlfriend wasn't born in wisconsin she was born in Charlotte North Carolina. Which is where I was born also along with Ryan Blaney. Here's an Interesting fact my family lived in a culdesac where there was 4 houses total my family was the  first one then next to mine was my girlfriend Elianas family then next to my girlfriend Elianas family was Ryan Blaneys family William Byron's family became the 4th one next to Ryan Blaneys family when he was going to be going into middle school. His family moved to get away from the hustle and bustle of Charlotte also cause his mom got a new job at the combined middle/high school she was the cooking class teacher and also was one of the theater department heads the other head was My girlfriend Elianas mom. her mom was a gym teacher at the combined middle/high school. So yeah we all grew up in the same culdesac.  Gavin's phone rings
Gavin looks and sees his girlfriends mom is calling.
Gavin Leatherwood: oh shit. Something must of happened.
Mike Hilton: are you okay Gavin?
Gavin Leatherwood: I have to go and take this call Mike nice talking to you.
Gavin rushes out of the conference room and answers the phone
Gavin Leatherwood: Mrs Leblanc is everything alright?
Mrs Leblanc: no not at all. Eliana was sitting in her office chair at Northwoods Superspeedway and she fell off her chair and her foot banged into the desk hard she has badly fractured her left foot.
Gavin Leatherwood: Oh shit. Tell Eliana I'll catch the next flight out to Minneapolis international airport. Oh and would you be able to pick me up and drive me to my second house please?
Mrs Leblanc: yes of course I can do that Gavin. Also Eliana has been asking wheres Gavin. I need my boyfriend Gavin here to comfort me.
Gavin Leatherwood: well tell her I'll be there as soon as I can. I am going to call my crew chief and let him know what's going on. Then I'll get online and get the next southwest flight out to Minneapolis international airport.
Mrs Leblanc: thank you Gavin. Again I'm sorry for this to be a sudden drop of the ball on you.
Gavin Leatherwood: it's okay I appreciate you letting me know as I care deeply about your daughter Eliana. Also I have something I need to ask you. Would I be able to ask for your daughters hand in marriage? I have a plan to do it the evening of the day the Father's Day NASCAR race is at Northwoods Superspeedway.
Mrs Leblanc: yes I you so can Gavin. Ever since Eliana started dating you back in 6th grade I've seen a huge change in her. She started not giving any kind of back talk to me whatsoever. And she was always kind and nice and caring about her 2 sisters and 2 brothers. I had never seen that kind of behavior come from her ever in her life. Thank you for all you've done to make my Eliana happy and appreciative of life more and more.
Gavin: oh your welcome Mrs Leblanc. She makes me so happy. I remember I was the quirky one of the popular boys and one day I sat down at the popular boys table in the lunch room where I preceded to tell them that I asked out a girl named Eliana Leblanc. the popular boys just bursted into laughter. I was told you asked out the quietest girl in the whole entire grade. But they got proven wrong when the next monday I came to the lunch table hands interlocked with Elianas hands needless to say they were all shocked. They didn't expect the date would have gone as well as it did. She sat by me and the popular boys for a week then Erin Blaney who was a popular girl a grade bellow me who was friends with the popular girls of my grade came up to Eliana and asked her if she'd wanna be apart of the popular girls status. She accepted it.
