WednesdayAriella's pov
I adjust my spot on Ashton's couch. My broken arm resting on the cushion of the arm rest while my feet are lying on the small table ahead of me.
I asked Ashton last week if I could come and spend my week off with him and he happily agreed.
"Were you raised in a barn? Get your feet off my table." He walks in the space between the couch and the table, running into my legs and continues to walk so my legs fall.
I shake my head and he hands me a cup of tea he made for me. "Not a barn, I just had to live with you unfortunately." I take a very loud sip from the liquid.
He doesn't say anything, probably giving me a look instead. I quickly glance at him through the corner of my eye. The expression on his face causes a snort from my nose that then makes him laugh loudly.
"Oh also, the guys are coming over soon I hope you don't mind." He informs after his laughter has ended. I shake my head and shrug my shoulders. "What do I care? It's your house. I can go out while they're here if you want, that way I won't get in the way of whatever you all have planned." I gesture to the door using my hand and take another sip of my tea.
He looks at me in disbelief. "Are you kidding? This is the first time I've seen you in months! I'm not going to tell you to leave. And besides, the guys will definitely want to see you too."
I just nod, no point in arguing with him when he's right. "You got a girlfriend yet?" I joke with him, changing the topic. He rolls his eyes. "You got a boyfriend yet?" He retorts while laughing.
I just smile. I haven't told him about George and I, and I didn't really plan on it either but I guess I walked myself into the question.
"Well," I start, but sigh before I could get any further. His jaw drops. "I want to know now!" He urges like a teenage girl.
"Okay, but you can't tell anyone." I point at him and he nods enthusiastically. "I'm dating George Russell." I look down at my lap as I speak, fiddling with my fingers.
He gasps. "No way! Michael was right! He called it when you two were arguing after that first race! That's crazy we all said he was out of his mind!" He rambles on. The information makes my own jaw drop. The way he was able to predict that amazes me.
The doorbell rings and Ashton gets up to answer it. Judging by the voice on the other side of the door, I can tell it's Luke.
He steps in the house and his eyes meet mine almost instantly. "Ria! Oh my god I didn't know you were here!" Luke runs up to me almost like a little kid. He throws himself down on the couch next to me and hugs me tightly.
The smile on my face is spread as wide as possible. "Hey Luke." I mutter the greeting into his ear.
"How have you been? It's been months since I last saw you. Well, not on a screen that is." He jokes making the both of us laugh.
"Good, yeah really good. I'm currently running second in the drivers championship which is insane. But how have you been?" Being second is more than I could've asked for this season. I don't even believe it as I say it out loud. For a rookie, second is incredible to me.
