One

You looked up at the house in front of you. A large house sat inside a fence.

You recently moved out of your apartment near your childhood home after an argument with your parents. You decided to move to California seeing as it was always your dream.

You snapped yourself out of your thoughts and began moving your boxes into your new home. You found the room you wanted and set the boxes labeled "bed" in it.

After getting all the boxes in you started to unpack. Hanging up your clothes, putting away all your plates.. just trying to find a place for everything.

By the time you finished there was only a few things left to do. Get furniture, move it in, and hang up your LED's in your room.

It was about 2 PM so you had a while to shop around for some furniture.

You drove to the nearest furniture shop and looked around. You ended up getting a bed frame and mattress, a couch, table and chairs, and a few more things.

You went to the checkout and asked for the items to be delivered. 
"Of course. What time would be best?" The cashier asked
"As soon as possible, I just moved into a new house and I want to at least have my bed put together by tonight" you said with a laugh.
The lady laughed quietly and called the movers and requested the delivery

You drove home and waited on the delivery people (A.N idk what they're called)

About fifteen minutes later they arrived and began moving the boxes in.

After they were done you thanked them and they left.

You opened the box for the bed frame and looked at the instructions
"This is gonna be a long day" you thought to yourself

After about three hours of struggling with the bed frame you eventually got it together. Thankfully you put it together in your room, seeing as it was a lot bigger than you thought it would be.

You moved the frame to the place you wanted it and began opening the mattress.

After you got the bed all set up it was almost 6 pm.
You decided to take a break and go meet the neighbors

You brushed out your hair and walked outside and over to the neighbors door.

You rang the doorbell and a girl about the same height as you opened the door.
"Hi, I'm the new neighbor. I just wanted to see-"
You got cut off by the girl
"You're fine. I'm Kat by the way. Would you like to meet everyone else?" She said with a big smile across her face
"Sure.. I don't really have much else to do today other than put together furniture"  You laughed nervously as she grabbed your hand and pulled you into the door.

You looked around the house in awe at how nice it was. She pulled you into what you assumed was the living room where a group of people were seated.

"Guysss!! We have a new neighbor!!"
Kat said, drawing the attention to you

"Hi- my name's Y/n.. I just moved here"

"It's nice to meet you Y/n" one of the guys said "my names Corey, this is Jake, Sam, Colby, Aaron, Elton, and that's Kat"  he said while pointing to everyone

Everyone waved as their name was called off

"It's nice meeting you all, I should probably get back to my place.. I have a lot of work to do" you said and started to walk back to the door

"Do you need any help?"  One of the guys said.  You turned around and saw a blonde walking up to you. Corey said this was Sam.

"No, no it's fine. I don't want to bother you guys" you said before realizing Sam was already halfway to the door. "Well- guess he's helping" you said under your breath with a small laugh

You walked out of their house and back to yours only to find Sam opening the box to your couch

"It's fine.. really I got it" you said nervously
"Too late I'm already helping. I was about to text everyone else to hurry up and get their lazy asses over here" he said with a smile

You emailed back and finished opening the box as Sam texted everyone else to come over.

"Thank you.. I wasn't expecting this today" you laughed as Colby, Corey, and Jake walked through the door

"It's fine, we gotta make the new neighbor feel welcome" Jake said as he began reading the instructions "hang on this is confusing. What the fuck is this?" He said half joking.

You looked down and the paper and grabbed two of the metal bars and screwed them together.
"Okay man what the fuck- this is bullying" Jake said, laughing as he watched you work.

"Well are you just gonna stand there or help?" You said looking up at the guys

A few minutes later Elton, Kat, and Aaron walked in.
"Took you guys long enough, she's been killing us" Corey said dramatically laying on the floor

Elton looked at him and kicked hm lightly, causing him to roll over, and start dramatically fake crying

"I have to live next to this?"
You asked Kat as she was doubled over laughing
"Yep, now you can't get rid of us" she said between laughs

You shook your head while smiling and went back to putting the couch together

*time skip brought to you by a bug on the wall*

You finished putting together all your furniture with everyone's help. It was almost 11 pm now.
"Thanks again. I really didn't expect all this on my first day here" you said as everyone stood around.

"It's no problem, can I get your number so we can talk more later?" Kat asked. You nodded and handed her your phone so she could put in the number
"Alright, I'll text you tomorrow. I'm getting kinda tired." Kat said and everyone filed out.

You moved your stuff around, trying to make things look good.  After a while you were happy with how everything looked and fell asleep on the couch.
