Before we get into the story, I wanted to provide a little backstory. For those who have played Hogwarts Legacy, and for the most part the story remains the same with a few minor changes. Amara Pierce is 16 years old in the beginning of Hogwarts Legacy. She was sent to Hogwarts by her father, Victor Rookwood, to locate the final Repository under the pretense that Ranrok (the main antagonist of Hogwarts legacy) was after something that clearly belonged to the Rookwood family. Victor Rookwood was never much involved in Amara's life after her mother passed away when she was 8, even more so when her magic never came. Once she started showing signs of having magical abilities, he contacted the ministry of magic which led to Amara studying under Professor Fig. From there the story continues as is, with Victor Rookwood doing occasional check in. To make their story believable, they both agreed to act like strangers so know one would suspect what they were up to. Towards the end, Amara falls in love with a Slytherin boy named Sebastian Sallow who she helps look for a cure for his ill sister. It is later discovered that Victor Rookwood was the one who cursed Sebastians sister, and this is when Amara has a change of heart and betrays her father which leads to his untimely death.
This story now takes place a year after defeating Ranrok, and Amara has chosen to lock away the ancient magic. Sebastian Sallow struggles to cope with the death of his Uncle and losing his relationship with his sister.

- I am in no way a Professional writer, this is my first time writing a fanfic. My writing is probably at a 7th grade level at best, so if there are any mistakes. I apologize.
- This fanfic will dive in to some pretty dark themes so I definitely want to provide that warning before hand. But I promise I will also keep it fun and lighthearted too. Especially when building the Romance with Sebastian ;)
