ELECTRIC EEL POV

I'm really excited to meet Lemon again. I keep staring at the water and wondering when he'll be back... Maybe this is the feeling of having a friend... an actual, true friend... Either way, I just hope I see him tomorrow. I really wanna learn more about the surface... and most importantly, him. But there's no point fantasizing about it now. I'll just have to wait and see, whether I like it or not.

LEMON POV

He's really something... but I can't say that he's a bad friend. I feel calm around him, to be honest. I wonder if I'll see him again tomorrow. He seems like he would be popular down in the ocean. He does light up the place, after all... I wonder if people treat him well there. I want to learn more about what's it's like under the water, and him. But either way, I should get to sleep. I don't want to end up staying up all night... again.

The Next Day

Both Electric Eel and Lemon are thinking about meeting each other again, so they both walk and swim to the same location they were in before. And, as you can imagine, they both met up. They both smiled at each other, happy to see each other again.

"Lemon!" Electric Eel exclaims, extending his arms out for a hug. Lemon seems surprised, but goes along with it and hugs Electric Eel. After a few seconds, they let go of each other again, and Lemon sits near the shore while Electric Eel stays in the water.

"Well, uh... how have you been?" Lemon asks, trying to start up a conversation. "Oh, I've been fine." Electric Eel smile before looking away for a while, the back at Lemon. "...Is it just me, or... have you also been thinking about me the whole of yesterday? Cause that's what happened to me with you..." Lemon looks surprised, but then sighs and looks into Electric Eel's eyes. "...Yeah, I gotta admit, I've been thinking about you too." "Oh, so it wasn't just me! Thank goodness!" Electric Eel chuckles softly and sighs in relief.

They both sit in silence for a while before Electric Eel gets an idea. "...Hey, do you wanna see what it's like underwater?" Lemon seems surprised. "Huh? I can't—" "It's fine, you can just look from over the water." "...Okay then." Lemon sighs. Electric Eel smiles and turns over. "Hold on, let me light it up first!" "Okay then." With that, Electric Eel dashes to light up the city before using his powers to go back to the surface.

"Alright, get on my back!" "...Huh?" Lemon seems genuinely confused. "Come on, trust me!" Electric Eel smiles brightly and gives him a thumbs up, before Lemon chuckles quietly and smiles. "Fine then." Lemon climbs on Electric Eel's back and Electric Eel swims under the water, but leaves Lemon over the water. As they reach the city, Lemon looks into the water, and can faintly see the city.

"Woah... it looks... different than I thought it would..." "Bahaha! Well, it's cool, isn't it!? To think I have to light up that whole place!" Lemon chuckles softly from that remark. "Yeah, I guess so." Electric Eel swims them both back to the shore, where Electric Eel sets Lemon back onto the shore.
