Chapter 2 - Prank to a Surprise

The next day, Niles asked me to sit next to Him at lunch, as He had something He needed to share with Me. I accepted, and at lunch, I noticed that Miles WASN'T there with Niles, and Niles looked like He was blushing. So, I knew that this was something private. I asked "What is it that You needed to share with Me?". Niles was silent for a minute or two before telling Me... "I'm planning a prank with Miles, but Miles doesn't know... that... I..." Niles stopped and turned redder than I saw Him before. "It's Okay, Niles, You can tell Me, just as long as nobody else hears it," I told him. Niles then inhaled as He quietly said to Me, "ᴵ ʰᵃᵛᵉ ᵃ ᵖˡᵃⁿ ᵗʰᵃᵗ ᴵ'ᵈ ˢⁿᵉᵃᵏ ᵒᵘᵗ ᵒᶠ ᵗʰᵉ ᵖˡᵃᶜᵉ ᵗʰᵉ ᵖʳᵃⁿᵏ ʷᵒᵘˡᵈ ᶦᵐᵖᵃᶜᵗ ᵃⁿᵈ ᴵ'ᵈ ᵗᵃᵏᵉ ʸᵒᵘ ᶦⁿᵗᵒ ᵗʰᵉ ʲᵃⁿᶦᵗᵒʳ'ˢ ᶜˡᵒˢᵉᵗ ᵃⁿᵈ ᵏᶦˢˢ ʸᵒᵘ, (Y/N)...". I was SHOCKED. Did He seriously plan this? "Okay, just be sure to lock the door using a key I'm sure You have..." I said. Niles said "OK", and later, I could smell what smelled like SMOKE, and, surely enough, Smoke fogged the classroom, and I could barely see anyone. A few seconds later, I could hear screams of fear, choking, and Mrs. Shandy telling everyone not to panic, even though She couldn't see anyone because of the smoke. "This was NO accident," I thought. And then I remembered... It was the prank that Miles and Niles had planned! Someone then told Me to close My eyes, and the next thing I knew, I felt Myself being taken out of the classroom... and the person taking Me out of there holding my hand rather TIGHTLY and running. I opened My eyes to find out who it was. It was Niles Sparks! the boy I had been talking to earlier, and the person who presumably made the school's generator burst into flames along with Miles. "We need to hurry before someone catches us!" Niles shouted. But thanks to the smoke, a few minutes later, I was OUT.
