VARAIN's POV
The Next Day,
I woke up at exact 5 am since I'm going to the audition with Pai, I walked down to the kitchen to find my parents sitting at the same table with that Sky.
They never sat on a table with me, but they are both sitting happily to that chair with him, maybe they really forgotten that I am their own child, their legitimate son and not that Sky.
"Good morning my brother, here I cooked breakfast for you, I don't know what you want to eat for breakfast that's why I cooked some bacons and veggies instead" Sky said
Here he goes again, acting all innocent and saint but he is really a devil, I'm sure he's up to something and that's what I'm going to find out.
"Thanks" I faked a smile "but I prefer milk for breakfast" I added
"Oh is that so? How about I prepare your milk" He volunteered
"no thanks, but I can take care of myself" I said
"Okay but Rain I just wanted to take care of you" Sky sadly said
"I can take care of myself so please stop pretending that you really care about me, because I know you're not" I shouted
That caused my parents to look at me furiously.
"Rain can you please stop being childish all the time? Sky just wanted to take care of you, he is your brother after all, and please just let him do it okay?" Daddy said
"But I can take care of myself Dad, and also I don't need him, I don't need a brother all I want is you and Papa's attention, care and love, that's all I want not him" I said
"Hon, stop it okay? Just let him be, right Rain, where are you going with Pai?" Papa asked
"Just somewhere Pa, why?" I answered coldly
"Aren't you going to an audition?" Daddy asked
"What audition Dad? Can I go there with him?" Sky interrupted
"Of course you can go there with your brother" Daddy said
"But Dad---"
"Of course Dad, I would love that" Sky interrupted
"No, I'm not going there Dad, because I don't want to be an actor just like you," I said
"Rain?" Dad shouted as he throw his spoon on the table,
"How many times do I have to tell you that you will be an actor, just like me as your Papa, is that so hard to do?" He added
"Yes Dad, because that's not what I want to do, I wanted to become an engineer and not an actor" I said
"If I said you will be an actor, you will be an actor, understand?"
"No I won't Dad, I won't" I said I was getting ready to stand up when Sky interrupted us
"Dad don't push him to become an actor if he doesn't want to, just let him do what he wants, don't worry because I wanted to become an actor so yeah" He said
"You see that Rain, why don't you imitate your brother? He knows what he wanted to do" Daddy said
"Sky is better than you, he knows what can make me and your Papa happy, unlike you, you are a very rebellious child" He added
"Okay, since you're favoring him so much then I think it's better if I leave this house, since I think that's what he wanted to happen, right Sky?" I said before finally standing up getting ready to leave the kitchen
"You ungrateful brat" Dad shouted
"Yes I am Dad, I'm the most ungrateful brat ever, but I'm gonna assure you, you would be proud of me someday, you would see all of my skills and you will realize that I am still better than your adopted child" After that I finally leave the kitchen when I suddenly received a text from Pai saying that he was already waiting for me outside our house.
"good morning My Baby" Pai greeted me when he finally saw me,
"So how's it? I heard some loud shouts coming inside your house, is that your Dad?" He asked
"Yeah, I don't know what they see to that Sky but I'm gonna make sure that, Sky would regret this, I'll make him regret his decision from stealing my parents and their attentions from me" I said
While Pai is escorting me inside his car, and started driving his car to the venue.
"Just relax My Baby, you are going to the audition today right? Then prove it to them, do your best so that you would get accepted on that series" he said while comforting me
"but do you really think they would accept me? I mean, I know there are so many auditionees and it's not just me and also Sky is planning to go their later so yeah" I said
"Oh come on Rain, this isn't you, you usually never gives up and also you are a fighter I know you can do it, just pray and trust yourself okay, I'll be there at the corner watching and supporting you" he said
"You promise?"
"of course I promise, I won't leave you there, and also remember this, if they didn't accept you, it's there loss not yours, I know you are more capable than the others," he said
"really?"
"Yup, because you are my boyfriend, you are Prapai's Baby, right?"
"yes I am, I can do it" I said just to forget all the nervousness that I'm feelin'
"alright we are finally here My Baby" he said
When we finally arrived at the venue, two hours after travelling.
Pai and I are both walking inside the venue when Sky greeted me, he's with some guy,
"So how's your ride my baby brother?" He said
"Well, it's good because i'm with my boyfriend, what about you? Having fun with your escort?" I sarcastically said
"My escort? Oh you're talking about him? Payu this is my brother Rain, Rain meet Payu my best friend and my soon to be brother in-law" he said as he introduced the guy to me
"Hi I'm Payu, Sky's friend and your soon to be boyfriend" that Payu guy said
"What are you saying?" Pai angrily asked as he got irritated because of him
"Who are you?" Payu asked
"Well, he's my boyfriend, why, got any problem with that?" I asked him
"hmmm, no problem at all my brother, see you inside, let's go Payu" Sky said as he pulls Payu inside the venue
"You okay?" I asked Pai
"Yeah, just got irritated" He answered
"Anyways let's go inside they're prob'bly starting" He added
"Okay let's go" I said, as we both walked inside hand in hand
