Aakash sat on the doctor's lounge frustrated. The Shiva named guy was irritating him to the no point. Does he think he will get ready to witness just because of his little efforts, if yes then he was wrong, for his own sake he will never do it. Aakash dreaded the single thought of his video getting public. He will never be able to handle the humiliation.
A boy came there and sat with him, aakash noticed him and sighed, he was about to go but whatever boy said made him more frustrated.
The child looked down " app gawahi dene se mana kar rahe ho?."
Aakash didn't said anything but stood there. The boy held his hand " kyu mana kar rahe ho, aapke sath bhi kuch huya tha na.."
Aakash looked at him shocked " n-nahi to, tumhe aise kisne kaha."
The boy just smiled and gave a little hug " mujhe nahi pata aapke sath kuch huya hai ya nahi par please gawahi mat dena. Please court me mat jana, mai wo humiliation seh nahi paunga."
Aakash got shocked more, he was the boy who got raped. It's been a week he was in the hospital and he himself never cared to confront, the boy reminded him of his own self... A sixteen years old aakash. Aakash closed his eyes... How much selfish could he be?
The boy looked at him and laughed, he was no fool to not understand, it was like he was seeing a mirror " i can see the regret, you are just like me. Pathetic.. who can't even help himself.... a person full of regretted memories.. what stopped you? You are rich. My mom is poor yet she is hell bent for court case, aur ek bhai hai jo picha nahi chod raha. I wish I had family like you who didn't cared.. agar aise hota to mujhe aapki tarah ye besharmi nahi sehni parti. Everyone is pathetic here, I'm the biggest one.. I'm pathetic.. I'm pathetic."
The boy repeated the same words again and again and left from there.. aakash stood there shocked, pathetic.. the word was made for him. He was just like the boy, doesn't matter he stood strong all the time but he too needed someone to held him and tell him he was not wrong, it was not his fault. But what was the biggest mistake was that he never stood for himself. He told everyone that they should stand strong no matter how the things are.. how much their life is messed up but what happened to him.. It was not a big thing to say but it was difficult to do and aakash never put efforts to stood up for himself, he should've fought.
One thing that got into his heart that he was not the lucky one, the boy was lucky. Despite of having lack of money his family stood by his side. The one thing normal in India is rape, More than 80 girls are getting raped everyday in India. Some of the cases doesn't even are reported then what about boys. It's not like Indian boys are not getting raped, they are too but most of them doesn't even voice out their problem because of the fear of humiliation.. still the boy's parents were caring enough to get the justice for their child and then there were his parents who blamed him for the thing he never did..
Aakash sat down and cried, he didn't wanted to but how could he stop when they started to flow like river..
Aakash sat in his office with earbuds but who could stop Shiva at that time. He casually took out of his earbuds and tossed them god knows where... Aakash looked at him shocked.
He yelled at him in anger " do you even know how expensive that was."
