"So uh let me start from the beginning" the two boys nodded, feeling somewhat uncomfortable with the new atmosphere that settled itself on the table.

And Jia, she was shit scared. She had rehearsed this in the mirror multiple time. She knew she had to do it someday, she just never mentally prepared herself to do it. The words were on the tip of her tongue. She knew why she wanted to say it just—

She felt a hand on her's and looked up to see Geon-Woo's soft eyes reassuring her. "It's ok, take your time" Woo-Jin smiled at her. She closed her eyes and exhaled taking a few deep breaths before looking at them, smiling.

"Ok I'm ready now" she adjusted herself on her seat and the boys smiled back at her, happy she had calmed down. "So I'm going to start from the beginning. I was born in Korea and raised by a mother and a father. It was just me, and them. We lived peacefully in a beautiful house."

"My parents were happy, and I was happy. Life was good. We weren't the richest family in the world but we weren't poor either. My father was an employee and got a good salary making us live comfortably. While my mother was a house wife."

The two boys sat quietly, their full attention on her. All of this was new information to them. She knew everything about them but they knew nothing about her. It was intriguing for them, to say the least.

"I don't remember my father being greedy for money, ever. But that greediness for money and wealth became stronger for him each passing day. So Eun-Woo, my father, got involved in some very bad business."

"At the time, my mother and I were completely oblivious of his doing. That was before we started noticing how much money he was gaining. My mother decided to talk to him. He told her about the new business he got involved in and my mother told him to leave it since she had a bad feeling about it, assuming that there must be some consequences to the various privileges he was receiving. My mother was very humble, she didn't care about the money, only our well being"

"My father on the other hand was greedy. He didn't leave the business, but lied to her saying he had. He realized what my mother was talking about, two months after her warning. He tried to leave when they had given him illegal tasks to do such as drug dealing and various other things in that department."

"He finally left the business even though they had threatened him with grave consequences if he did actually leave. He ignored them, just like he ignored my mother. So, one night, i was sleeping in my bed when I heard screams coming from down stairs."
