I just woke up, I saw Tom that he wasn't by my side and realized I'm at my apartment room.

I'm not wearing the same clothes I was wearing last night as I remembered. I got shocked and confused.

I quickly got up and searched for Tom and my kids, I searched everywhere and I couldn't find them.

I recieved a text message from Athena.

Y/n where are you? You left your kids here last night, please come back here

Tom and Bill's house

I rushed to my car and quickly drove to their house to see my children. And when I got there..

"Y/n, have you forgotten? It's our wedding day tomorrow" Tom said

Argh. I don't even know what's happening.

"Oh yeah sorry, I forgot" I said.

"Where's the kids? Where are they?" I added

I saw Tom looking at me with confusion.

"Y/n.." Tom whispered

"What? Where are they? Where are my twins?" I said. My tears fell off because of confusion.

"Come with me, let's go to the sea side" Tom said. He held my hand dragging me to the sea side near their house.

We sat on the soft white sand, and had a little chit-chat about our wedding for tomorrow.

I forgot to ask him why did he brought me here, so I took the moment to ask him.

"So.. why did you brought me here?" I asked.

"Y/n.. have you forgotten?"

I tilted my head sidewards while looking at him of confusion.

"W-what do you mean?"

"Y/n.. Me and the kids are already dead. It's been 5 years, Y/n.." Tom said. Tears fell down my face as I heard those words. My heart shattered into pieces.

"Then what about earlier? Why did Athena texted me?"

"That's all your illusions Y/n.. that's not what she really said.." said Tom.

I can't accept that this is really happening to me.. I realized that I'm really having illusions and I haven't been visiting my therapist for weeks.

I also realized that all of what happened are all dreams and it just flashbacked through my mind.

"Tom?"

"Yes, love?"

"Can I get a hug before you leave?"

"Always"

I hugged him as I sighed in relief. I felt him slowly fading away in my arms, I started to have a mental breakdown by the seaside..

Minutes later, I heard a shout that's from a girl.

"Y/n!!"

It's Athena.

"What are you doing here again? I already told you he's gone, why can't you just accept it?" She said, making me cry even more.

"I'm sorry... I just loved them so much, I can't move on" I said.

FEW MONTHS LATER

I finally moved on to what happened and I'm finally healed. I'm also visiting a therapist every 2 weeks, and it actually helped to heal myself.

AT TOM AND THE KID'S GRAVE

I between their graves and laid my head on Tom's.

"I'm sorry my sweethearts, if I could've been home that time, you three wouldn't be there. We should be hanging as a family, but no." I said, as my tears fell down through my cheeks.

I stayed there till dawn, I didn't even looked at my watch.

"Y/n!"

I looked behind me and I saw Bill, just him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I just came here to tell you that.. Athena's pregnant" Bill said.

I got up from where I was sitting and started jumping up and down from excitement.

"Congratulations, Bill! I'm so happy for the both of you!"

"Thank you, Y/n"

It's been 5 years, Athena gave birth of triplets. And to be honest, they all looked like Tom and Bill.

I also became a CEO of three of the most popular company in Europe. I earned billions and I also got my own mansion, 4 sport cars, 2 big farms, and 3 5-star hotels.

I'm so proud of what I am right now. I can't believe I got this far.

I still don't have a new boyfriend nor a husband, I planned of being single forever since Tom died.
