My name is Aiko Campbell and I live in a small town in Savannah Georgia named Hilton Head Island. I've stayed here my whole life literally. Everything I have is right here, but recently I've been feeling the need for wanting to stay in the city such as New york.. but knowing my mom she's never moving out of state so the best we could go for was Atlanta.
I've been in a relationship for about 4 years with one of my childhood bestfriends, and now im moving away. The hardest part is always the Goodbye and the fucking anxiety, that's why I hate moving, even though I've literally never moved anywhere befo- *BITCH HURYY UP PLEASE* -my big sister yells while interrupting me
Aiko- OKAYYYY OKAYYYY, i yelled
As I grab all the left over luggage in my room i look out my window and see Chris (my boyfriend) talking to my best friend Sa'nyah across the street in his front yard. I hurry up and grab all my things so I can go chime in on the conversation because they both didn't speak to me today.
I toss the rest of my bags down stairs so I won't tumble down with them while im walking down.
Mia (Aiko's big sis)- Damn if you wanted to take me out you should've just said that.
Aiko- Girl I know you heard all that commotion coming down the steps now move so i can put this stuff in the car.
Mia- Whatever.
As i headed to the car I'm able to hear a little bit of what Chris and Sa'nyah are talking about.
Mia- Stop ease dropping if it were really that serious you would walk up to them and be apart of the conversation like that. Plus they're probably not even talking about anything for real.
Aiko- True
I awkwardly walked across the street towards Chris's house to say my Goodbyes because for some reason nether did him or Sa'nyah check in on me knowing I would be leaving today.
Aiko- So I guess this is it.
*Chris looks at me funny while Sa'nyah side eyes me and look towards Chris's direction*
Aiko- So no one is gonna say goodbye orrr?
Sa'nyah- We were just talking about all the memories the 3 of us had all together before you go plus we didn't know if you wanted to be bothered during the move or not.
Chris- Yeah, then you ran over here awkward as hell like a car was stopping for you when no car was waiting for you at all.
*Sa'nyah & Chris both laugh historically*
Aiko- Oh y'all got jokes
Chris- Yeah we do. Come here
I walked towards Chris and kissed him gently as he slowly put his hands on my neck and kissed me like it was his last time seeing me, LITERALLY.
Sa'nyah- Alright love birds i think y'all forgot that we are in broad daylight in a front yard at that.
Chris- Mann
Aiko- Okay lame
*Sa'nyah then pulled both of us in for group hug*
