(I would like to say that this chapter could possibly be slightly triggering to some people, it does mention SA, but it DOES NOT get descriptive, just hints at it. When I write things like this, it is more so for my own comfort but I do post them in an attempt to try and help/comfort people who struggle with similar things. My point is, if you do not like things like this, then don't read it. I do not feel like dealing with unnecessary criticism/hate for something that isn't in any way meant to be offensive or upsetting. Thank you, if you're still here, please enjoy!)   

I laid in Danny's arms, soft and hardly audible snores escaping his throat. My mind wandered a million different places all at once, not allowing me to sleep. I sighed as I dug my face deeper into Danny's chest, hoping to quiet my thoughts and finally sleep. Soon enough my mind went silent and allowed me to fall into a deep sleep.

DANNY'S POV*

I woke up as I felt Y/N shake in my arms, quiet sobs and words I couldn't make out falling from her lips. I looked down, realizing she was still asleep. I rubbed her back, attempting to wake her without scaring her. "Shh, it's alright, I'm here." I spoke softly, lifting my hand to her head and stroking her hair softly. "No no! Stop, get off of me!" She cried out, shoving and hitting my chest. My heart twisted as she cried, knowing she's been through so much to the point this was a nightly struggle.

I lightly patted her back, leaning my head down to kiss the top of her head. "It's okay baby, you're safe now." I said, trying to contain myself. Her body continued to shake but her crying stopped. I reached my arms down, putting my hands under her arms and pulling her up to rest her head in the crook of my neck as her body laid on top of mine. I wrapped my arms around her, holding her close to me. She wrapped her arms around my neck as her body calmed and her breathing steadied. I let out a few deep breaths, kissing her temple before falling back into a peaceful sleep.
