Ok so a few hours later we're still here at the meet, and yes I'm still here, I have to wait for the 4x4. So a few details are that I won all my events obviously, which are the, 4x1, 4x2, 200m dash, 100m dash, and 400m dash.

But don't say nun tho bc I really got too many events but they don't need to know that. So fast forward a hour later and me and my 4x4 group are just stretching and getting loose before we run.

"All 4x400 meter relay runners on the line now!" Said the official and we all walked over near the line and again Im last leg because I'm the fastest.

But ngl the 4x4 is the best race no doubt and our 4x4 team is goated, even if we switch the legs around well still win.

Our first leg lined up in lane 4 and the rest of us stood on the other lanes that were blocked off by hurdles.

"On your marks....set....." and the gun went off and everyone was running mad fast, by the time he made it to the 300 mark the race was over, he then waited a bit and finally kicked at the 150.

And while all this is going on I'm still nervous asf even though I already know we gon win.

Soon second leg passed it off to our third and it was time for me to get on the line. And we were already way out in first so I didn't have to do much, but tonight I wanna pr, I'm tired of running 47's I'm tryna run a 46. And I felt something in me all day telling me to go all out on this race and ima listen.

Soon I saw my teammate was close enough and I grabbed the baton and ran off, the first 100 meters were fine, I normally stride on the straight but tonight is different and I kept on running. Once I got the the 300 i strided a bit and kicked at the 150 next thing I know all I heard was the crowd and commentator.

"Will he do it is Ethan Reyes capable enough to run 46, making his title as the fastest in the nation go up to the fastest 10th grader split in the world and making him the fastest to ever step foot on this track for the 4x4 and a new pr!"

It hurted so bad but I just had to keep going I looked at the clock on the last 50 meters 42..43..44..45.....

Cheers from the crowd and the commentator got even louder, I sprinted a bit more to the best of my ability and I crossed the line. I walked to the side and sat down and everyone got quiet trying to see if I had PRed or not and a few seconds later......

"........AND HES DONE IT 46.98, A NEW WORLD RECORD AND YOUR NEW WORLD CHAMPION!!" The commentator yelled

"BROOO NO WAYY! OMGGGG!" I said as I jumped around in joy and yelled as they put the cameras on me and everyone yelled.

"LETS GOOO!!"

Tonight is something special to me, something that I will never forget, and a moment I'll cherish forever.. the night that I ran 46 split and became a world champion. Now all that's left is the open 400.
