"This day just feels so weird without them", Dalia said to herself sadly as she looked at a picture of her parents. "I wish they never went on that stupid flight to Puerto Rico."

"Is that your parents?", Tikki asked as she laid on her shoulder.

"Saxon and Léo Rodriguez... The world's best parents... Ada and I were blessed with them", the ravenette replied. "It's been three years since they disappeared and their anniversary is a reminder that they are gone."

"I'm really sorry, Dalia", the kwami said sadly.

"She promised me that she'd let me style her and make their original wedding cake for their 25th anniversary... What a sh1tty promise...", the girl said as she placed the photo down.

Just then a knock was heard on the door.

"Hide Tikki", she whispered. "Come in."

The door opened and James came inside with a hopeful smile on his face.

"Oh, hey James", the ravenette greeted masking her sadness.

"Hey... I just came to see how you were doing", he said as he sat down next to her.

"I'll be fine, but it's just that mom promised that I'd get to do her styling and cake for their 25th anniversary and they're not here...", the Arabic-Latina sighed.

"I know it stings but they'll be found soon. I just know it", James reassured. "I also came to remind you that you have the race with Kim and... Alix, right?"

"Yep, thanks for reminding me", Dalia said.

"And I will be at Le Grand Paris for my lunch date-I mean hangout with Alessa so don't forget that you'll be watching Adalynn", he said as he got up.

"When will you guys get past being friends and become-" She made a kissing gesture with her teddy bear which made him blush. "You know she's just waiting for you to make the first move. It's been like 7 years since you guys reconnected and 5 years since you guys started to go out together more often."

"We'll get there when we get there, Dalia", he replied as he left.

"Don't forget to bring flowers!", Dalia teased.

...

At Le Grand Paris, James and Alessa walked into the dining area as their waiter escorted them to their table.

"Thank you", he said to the waiter as he sat Alessa at the table.

"Here are your menus and I shall be back to take down your order", the waiter replied as he attended to another client.

"Thanks for taking me out, James", Alessa said smiling. "I've always wanted to come here since I was away in Austria."

"I'm glad that you're back as well... I-I wanted to ask you something as well", James stammered.

"Of course what is it?", the maroon-haired woman asked flashing her sapphire eyes at him.

"I-"

"James!" He turned to the direction that he heard his name was called and saw Tom, waving happily while Sabine was waving awkwardly at them.

He waved back and saw Alix and her father sitting nearby. Alix was also waving at them and he returned the gesture.

"You were going to ask me something, James?", Alessa said hopefully.

"I-um... forgot what I was going to ask", he chuckled as he looked at his menu.

"Oh... Oh okay", she said feeling a bit sad.
