We had just arrived at the coast gaurds and it was swamped. So we decided it would be best if just JJ and John b went in to report the boat.

"Well that went well, so what's the plan?" JJ asked as we met back up after they had no luck reporting the boat.

"I think I know how we're gonna find the guy who owns that boat" John b says holding up the key

"We don't know who's room that is, it could be anyone" pope said trying to reason with them

"I think it could be fun" I say

"I'm in" JJ says throwing the keys to kie. "Come on pope we'll be lookout" kie says as they all start walking back towards the boat.

Pope and I look at each other as pope rethought his life choices. "Come on pope, live a little," I say trying to lighten the mood and walking with the rest of the group.

We all sat on the boat nearing our destination. As the building came into view JJ whistled at how run down this place was. Like seriously it was scary.

"I though the chateau looked bad" JJ said

"This place is a shitshow" John b added
"Motel or meth lab?" Kie says

"You be the judge" pope responded

"Doesn't look like the type of place somebody with a Grady white stays" John b said knowing all of us would agree

"No it looks like the place somebody with a Grady white would get killed" I add on to John bs comment

"All right here we go" JJ said as we reach the dock getting ready to tie off

"This is your captain speaking HMS pouge comin' in for landing" JJ says doing a voice to try and lighten the mood

"Whoo!" He yelled getting of the boat and positioning it on land. "We good?" John b asks

"Yeah we good" JJ said back

"All right here goes nothin" John b said getting off the boat

"Hannah?" JJ said with question in his voice offering my hand "fine" I say taking it and getting out of the boat to go explore the room with John b and JJ.

"Hey" pope says to me
"Yeah?" I respond

"Don't let them do anything stupid" he says pointing to dumb and dumber

"Oh we will" JJ says before I get a chance to say anything

"No promises" I say to pope
"Yeah I know" he says in defeat

I walk over to stand next to JJ "uh be careful" kie says to John b handing him the motel key as JJ and I glance at one another feeing a slight awkwardness in the air.

"I mean it" she adds on

John b laughed a little "yeah"

"Let's go" he taps JJ on the shoulder motioning for us to get a move on.

"Why are all these mattresses out here?" John b asks
"After a hurricane they have to ditch them cause they're moldy" JJ said back

"Ew" I say quietly

We continued to walk up the stairs towards the motel room. I walked in front as the two boys followed closely. This place was a serious dump. And I have a feeling it was a dump before the hurricane.

"Just be so careful John b" JJ said groping John b in a funny voice making me turn to laugh at his impersonation of Kiara.

"God your so weird" John b says pushing him off as I laugh in the background
