Luffy forgave Ace. The next day instead of doing chores he ran after Ace. He kept doing this for a whole month. He finally caught up to Ace someday. He seen Ace and Sabo hiding money. Ace and Sabo tied Luffy up. "Where going to have to kill him." Sabo says. Luffy starts crying. "I don't want to die!!" Screamed Luffy. "Kill him already!" Screamed Ace! Sabo looks at Ace, "I don't know how to kill someone!" Sabo Yelled! "I don't either!" Ace yelled! Luffy continued crying. "Shut up!" Ace and Sabo yelled. Luffy now quiet.
"Hey, I heard something over here." Someone yelled. "We have to untie him; he's going to be killed." Ace said. Ace and Sabo untied Luffy. They hid behind a bush. When they seen who was following them, they noticed it was the Blue Jam Pirates. "Ace you steal from the Blue Jam Pirates. we don't want to make and enemy out of them." Sabo said. Ace and Sabo looked at Luffy, but he was gone.
"Ace help me!" Luffy yelled. Porchemy holding him by his shirt. "You know Ace?! Tell me where he is!" Porchemy said. "I don't know who he is." Luffy lied... Badly... Porchemy brought Luffy to a small house and started torturing him. "Tell us where Ace is!" The Blue Jam Pirates yelled.
"He's going to tell them he has a loudmouth." Ace said. "I know." Sabo replied. Sabo tells Ace to move the treasure while he sees if Luffy has snitched yet. Sabo goes to the Grey Terminal searching for Luffy. "There still torturing him he's just a child though." A civilian said. "I feel Bad for him." Another person said. This shocked Sabo. Sabo ran back to the woods.
"Ace, we have to rescue him he hasn't told anyone yet even though he's getting tortured!" This shocked Ace. They both rushed to the grey terminal. They found the small broken-down house. They broke down the wall. "Where her to rescue Luffy you bastard." Ace said. Porchemy looked at them. "Do you kids think you can beat an adult?!"
"What's taking Porchemy so long?" Blue Jam said. Blue Jam went to the broken-down house. "Did you really get beaten by kids?" Blue Jam killed Porchemy for getting defeated by kids. Blue Jam went after the Ace and them. Sabo went to live with Dadan. Dadan was mad but still let him. Later Ace, Sabo, and Luffy built a tree house. They exchanged sake and declared they were now brothers.
Ace, Sabo, and Luffy start there training. Luffy lost every round until he got mad. In the middle of the fight with Ace Luffy takes a pose. "Gear 2nt!" Luffy said loudly.

Steam comes out his body. Ace didn't know what Luffy was doing but he still was ready to fight. Ace tried hitting Luffy, but he disappeared. before the fight Ace was making fun of his worthless devil fruit but know he was scared. "Gomu Gomu no Jet Pistol!" Luffy hit Ace and sent him flying winning the match. Sabo was speechless.
"Yay! I've done it I've won against Ace!" Luffy yelled cheerfully. "Ace!" Sabo screamed. "He needs a doctor fast!" Sabo yelled. Luffy cried. "I'm sorry Ace!" Makino brought him to windmill village to rest. Makino asked what happened and Sabo explained everything. Makino was stunned she didn't know that Luffy was that strong.
When Ace was healed, he asked Luffy what that was. "I don't know but it enhanced my speed and strength. Like I said in our battle 'Gear 2nt' that's what I'm going to call it." Ace looked at Luffy. "Gear 2nt?" He spoke. "Yup." Luffy replied. "What a lame name" Ace said. "Hey, be quiet!" Luffy shouted.
