What if Little was Enough

The air is a human and its chest is heavy,
The sky is blue but no one under it is living,
Every walking body smells like death,
Chains of expectations around their necks;
Exhaling wills to stay, inhaling regrets,
Handmade parasites decayed at its best.

What if little was enough, I can't help but wonder.

What a strange world it is to live in,
Everybody seems to be in debt.
Borrowed lives and borrowed dreams,
They are trying to be somebody but themselves.
Greed like creepers invading their skins;
Homes break, when your hands are guilty
of burying your kins.
When you kill for riches, you don't find peace.

What if little was enough, I can't help but wonder.

When you visit your spring again, teach
yourself to be enough.
Free who you grow from your incompleteness,
When you give them life, surrender the reign.
Nurture the desire for ease, things are fleeting.
Won't you live if you still have the gift of breathing?

What if little was enough, I can't help but wonder.
