Cream walked through the forest growing scared. She felt lost and was already cautious due to rumors of a fox in the area. It was raining rather weakly and she couldn't see very well and that added with the adrenaline and pain she felt from various scratches and possible bruises didn't help. She walked through the trees holding her arms against her and shivered from being wet from the rain. She heard something in the bushes and rather quickly stopped to look over but slipped on a pile of mud and fell on her back. She saw a silhouette behind a tree as lightning flashed and she held in a scream as she struggled to crawl back against a tree. The silhouette slowly moved over to her and she held her arms in front of her and closed her eyes and kept them closed. She heard the footsteps directly in front of her and could feel the presence of the silhouette in front of her without feeling as much as a breath or anything brushing against her. She heard it start sniffing her after a few moments and braced herself for the feeling of something sharp digging into her or just blacking out. Instead she felt it sit next to her. She hesitantly opened her eyes and the silhouette leaned against her and she saw a pair of pointy ears that seemed to relax and droop over. She felt something begin to cover her and made out two different bushy tails by their silhouettes. She heard a quiet purring sound and knew whatever it was had fallen asleep. She didn't want to move in case she woke it up and possibly became hostile. Sitting against the tree she found herself growing oddly comfortable even with the clear danger she was in. She slowly closed her eyes and only heard the rain and the silhouette next to her purring. After a few minutes that felt like years she grew too tired to move as the adrenaline faded away. Although she didn't want to she felt herself growing tired and weak and everything was growing distant as she fell asleep with the Two Tails still encasing her.
