Gosh, I woke up to the whirring sound of the plane. I'm removing my AirPods Max as I glance at my phone; it's quarter to nine na pala.
Getting up from the lie-flat bed and stretching the hell out of me, an attendant quickly went to my aid.
"Good day, Miss. Can I get you something to drink?" she asked, smiling widely.
A bit disoriented from the sleep, I opted for something that would stir me up.
"An old-fashioned will do."
"Right away." She nodded and left.
I check my phone as I wait for it, bombarded by messages asking where the heck I am and what I am up to. I chuckled as I ignored those.
The sun is up, but I am still swamped.
"Miss, here's your Old-fashioned. Is there anything else I can do for you?" aniya
"I'm fine with this. Thank you."
Slightly bowing, and that beaming smile again. This is why I love flying with the Emirates. They have the finest services and an excellent crew. Riding the first class never really bore me anyway.
A few minutes before we landed, I came to my senses as I took a sip. Sarap! This day calls for a Bourbon talaga after an exhausting flight!
Seeing the skyscrapers of the Metro, my mouth went dry. I haven't really figured out what to feel. Nor having plans on what to do.
Damn, I guess I'll have another shot.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have just landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport."
Hearing the announcement, I thought, How will I end this day? But it's early pa naman, so I'll just have to go home for now. Without being noticed. When it landed, I started gathering my things. While making sure that everything is in place, I remembered that I brought four luggages pala, and they're all Trunk Plus pa! I huffed in annoyance.
I was greeted by the staff, and I smiled in return as I walked out of the plane. I don't want to ruin this day with those stupid bags. Checking out my outfit for the last time, I smiled.
Carrying my Arcadia Miu Miu bag, wearing a black Kenzo Oversized T-shirt dress, and walking with a Scolto Manolo Blahnik. I am chuckling as I started strutting my way out. So much for going unnoticed. Staying under the radar, my ass!
I am squinting while the sun is brightly shining in my eyes. I don't know what happened, but, sa plane kanina, I feel empty. But now...Ugh! I hate this.
Looking around, I have come to realize that I am really back. It felt weird. I feel weird. It made my heart... hurt.
"A wounded heart will heal in time," I whispered sadly.
Sighing, I put on my YSL sunglasses while my hair was dancing with the wind. It's going to be a long, hellish day!
