We just arrived at the airport, and I'm exhausted, yet I can't seem to forget what happened a while ago. I should've stayed. If my flight weren't so crucial, I might have canceled it sooner.
"Are you ready to go home to the Philippines?" Tita asked with a little amount of sadness in her voice.
"Tita, are you not going home with me?" I questioned with a sorrowful tone in my voice.
I'm used to being with Tita all the time; she's been my second mom ever since mom left. She treated me as if I were her blood-daughter.
"I can't... I have to handle our business here in Switzerland," Tita replied, "Besides, your Kuya Ethan will pick you up naman."
I let out a long sigh.
"Oh, that's your flight na, hurry up before you miss it." Please make sure to update me, okay?" I nodded.
4 hours later...
Currently on a call with my best friend 'Neizherra,' I'm feeling apprehensive, yet I'm forced to maintain my composure on my own.
["Ace, ich werde dich wirklich vermissen,"] She speaks this with a strong tone accent.
(Ace, I'm going to miss you)I cracked a smile.
Having to leave the country where I've practically reached adulthood aches a little. Maybe I wouldn't have to come to the Philippines if Dad hadn't drowned in debt. I could have gone to my top choice university... Harvard.
["Übrigens, was ist dein Plan fürs College? Hast du eine Universität gefunden??"] Neiz inquired.
(By the way, what's your plan for college? Did you find a university?)"I'm going to give UP a shot since Kuya Archer recommended it to me," I replied.
"Well, viel Glück dabei," she replied.
(Well, good luck with that)"Danke," I murmured as I hung up the phone.
(Thanks)I placed my head against the headrest, and I guess I'm getting a headache today, so I'll probably just sleep till I get there. I only hope it's worthwhile to leave Switzerland.

I finally arrived in the Philippines and I'm here at the airport, waiting for my cousin 'Ethan' to pick me up.
My right hand was covering my face from the sun because I didn't have an umbrella and it was too hot, and my eyes were also naniningkit na, so I started getting impatient.
I took out my cell phone to call my cousin again, but as I was about to dial his number, someone grabbed my arm, so I stared at it, gave it an unpleasant look, and forcibly yanked my arm from its filthy hand. It's a guy.
This guy is about five feet and ten inches tall, which is half my height. Being 5 feet and 7 inches tall makes it easy for me to tell. His bespectacled features include an unusual buzzcut, angular jawline, straight nose, slightly plump lips, and captivating eyes.
I cocked my head to the side and was astonished when he pulled out a large tarpaulin with my face and name in the center, so I was quickly hugged by humiliation because virtually everyone was now staring in our direction.
What the hell is going on?!
"Ace tama?" he asked reassuringly.
I suddenly paused when I heard my nickname.
"Correction Aestella, only my close friends could call me Ace." I said, emphasizing the word 'close friends'.
He chuckled, "Awit spokening dollars nga, da't pala nakinig ako sa koreano na 'yon," he whispered, seems like he was talking to himself.
