XXV- Bad idea

"Oh my gosh" You scanned your inbox. There were millions of emails you had to reply to.

You blinked at your laptop screen, sitting on the couch with 3racha.

"Whats up?" Chan asked, turning to look at your screen.

"I have to clear my inbox" You replied, deleting a few emails you knew weren't important.

Chan looked at your laptop, over your shoulder.

God this man is nosy.

"Oh wow" You raised your eyebrows as you noticed a certain email.

Hii, its me Toshi. I found your email through youtube! I still haven't got your number so i guess this is how we'll have to communicate. Are you coming to jyp tomorrow as well? Let me know so we can meet up!

"What the fuck?" Chan's voice was low as he read over your email.

Uh oh.

"This creep-" Chan turned to look at you, "Dont reply."

"What- why?" You furrowed your eyebrows in frustration.

You were upset with Chan for acting this way, and even more upset he wouldn't tell you why.

"Trust me he's bad news." Chan replied, turning back to the TV.

He seemed to not care about what you wanted to say.

"You're acting insane, Chris" You whispered back to him, careful to not let the other guys listen.

"Im acting insane? Why are you getting so defensive over some random guy?"

"Oh wow, so this is my fault now?"

He sighed, turning back to look at you. "Calm down, Y/N."

You gaped at him for a second, unable to process what he had just said. Your expression contorted into an ugly, angry one.

You hated being told to 'calm down' or 'relax'. It was as if you were overreacting in a situation, and you definitely weren't.

"Dont tell me what to do" You hissed at him.

You had been frustrated with the way he was acting the entire day and now all of it was coming out like hot lava erupting from a volcano.

"Are you really getting mad at me because of that guy?"

"Im getting mad at you for the way you're acting. And his name is Toshi!"

"Y/N. You need to stop." His voice was firm. Now he was mad.

"Yeah okay man" You huffed, getting up from your seat.

You had the terrible urge to cry and you didn't want him to see, so you rushed to the room with your laptop.

You hated feeling this way towards Chan, but he had brought it upon himself.

You couldn't understand why he got so upset over Toshi, but Toshi was your friend.

You plopped down on Chan's bed, feeling the weight of the entire day turning your body sore.

It seemed to you that ever since you came to korea, your relationship with Chan turned strained. Ironically enough, you were growing super distant. You wondered maybe you shouldn't have come to Korea.

Maybe this was a bad idea.

You let out a shaky breathe before opening your mail again.

You hesitated for a second, but then decided that this is what you wanted.

You hit send.

Earlier that day..

"Jeongin" Chan gestured with his hand for the youngest to come over, "I need to talk to you."

Chan led him to Changbin's room, which was furthest away from everyone else.

He opened the door and Jeongin followed.

"Do you remember Toshi?" Chan asked, closing the door as soon as Jeongin entered.

The youngest was spooked at Chan's behavior, and raised an eyebrow.

"That insane bully? Yeah. Why?"

"Well.. I thought after last time there was no way they would let him debut-"

"Oh come on, hes extremely talented. You know they wont lose that chance just because hes a shitty person."

Chan sighed, "Yeah well he's back terrorizing the town."

"No way, what happened?"

"I saw him with Y/N today. God i felt like i could slap him right there"

"Well.." Jeongin replied, "Did you tell her?"

Chan widened his eyes, "Are you crazy?"

"What?" Jeongin raised his arms in defeat, "You didn't tell her?"

"Of course not."

"Chan! You need to tell her!" Jeongin whisper yelled

Im not going to, drop the subject." Chan whispered back

"She deserves to know!" Jeongin exclaimed

"She doesn't need to. Tust me."

"Chan, why are you acting like this? I thought you cared about her!"

"I do care about her!" He ran his fingers through his hair, "More than you think but i-"

"Uh guys.. Dinners ready!"

Immediately the hushed whispers stopped.  Y/N was outside the door.

"Coming!" Jeongin called out.
