"What are you doing, accordion?" Kyle says frantically. "Y-you can't do this! You can't hurt garfield!"
"I wonder why," accordion says spitefully, sparks of pure malice escaping its lips. "Is it because you love him?" Accordion positions itself so it's teeth are dangerously close to Garfield's throat. "If you say you love garfield, I'll bite down so hard on Garfield's neck that the rivers will run red for the next month!"
"N-no!" Kyle says. "You can't hurt Garfield. If you do, you'll go to prison, and I'll never be able to see my bbg accordion again!!!"
Accordion's gaze softens. "Ya mean it? " its eyes shine with hope as his gaze softens.
