surprising secret

Kai's POV

Today is the 1st June which means Pride month just started and there's even a parade today to celebrate. Ella my nephew was already waiting at the door for us. "We need to go if we don't wanna be late!!" My 16 year old nephew yelled from the bottom of the stairs. "I still need to get Liam ready." I sighed still trying to get the sleepy 8 year old up and ready. "Fine, I'll leave now. I'll meet you at the noodle place in front of the cafe alright?" Still listening to every single word he said I still ended up nodding. "Umm, hello! I need an answer!" "Sorry! But yes we will. See you in a bit!" once I hear the door shut, I start focusing on waking the sleepyhead in front of me up. "Liam, baby you need to get up and get Ready." He rolled around. "Five more minutes...." Hearing his sleepy voice now makes me not want to wake him up but I have to. "You don't wanna miss the parade this afternoon for pride month do you?" Smirking as I see him jolt up for his little slumber and ran to the bathroom. "Liam, sweetie I have your cloths all set up and ready for you." Laughing while he came back to get his cloths. "Thanks Papa, love you!" And with that he rushed to the bathroom to actually get changed and ready. We eventually got it all together and we're about to leave. "Papa come on, I wanna show the people my appreciation to them." "Alright, alright, I'm coming calm down." And we went out the door to the direction of the noodle place. Ding! Grabbing my phone and looking to see who it was that text me. 

Firefox: The noodle place is closed for Pride month so I'm at the cafe instead. 

Firefox: You want anything while I'm here? 

RedFire: Yes please. Just a coffee and some gingerbread biscuits is fine. 

Firefox: Alright bye! 😑

RedFire: Bye! 😘

Cole's POV 

"Guys I'm telling you she's homophobic!" We've been hearing Jay ramble on about how he 'caught' Nya being rude towards Kai. "Jay, you could be seeing things again!" he rolled his eyes at me as a response, rolling my eyes back he continued. "Cole, buddy, your my best friend, you know I would never lie about something like this. She was calling him a Slut, Fag and all sorts of names." Zane butting in on the conversation before I had a chance of saying anything. "I say we should believe Jay." Lloyd finally walked in form behind the door. "Why should we Zane? You know he could be making this up right." I nodded, agreeing with him. "You both know very well that Jay would never lie about something this serious and Nya's been acting weird since the last time we've seen Kai." Hearing what his robotic voice had to say, I was starting to agree with him and by the look on Lloyd's face he was thinking the same. "You what, we won't tell Nya that we're going to the parade okay." They nodded in agreement and as if she heard me she poked her head through the door. "Hey guys what you doing?" We stared at her for a moment before answering. "nothing don't worry Nya." Jay smiling, I took a glance over to Zane and I could see he was fuming and Nya mad eit worse by kissing Jay on the cheek. "Excuse me, I need to go visit Cyprus Borg." I see that fake smile anywhere on his face. "Alright bye Zane!" Everyone saying that and he took off. While Nya was smurthing Jay in kisses, I could he didn't want, I went over to Lloyd. "Hey I'll go get Zane and get a bag packed with stuff for the parade okay you guys meet me outside." He nodded, I slipped away unnoticed by Nya mad emy way to where Zane is after getting the bag all ready. I saw him crying in a corner. "Hey bud, what's wrong?" "You all know I like Jay and Nya was kissing him. I just didn't want to see him being so loved and loving someone else. It hurts." He looked up, wipeing the tears away. "Zane you know I've known a while but if you had stayed you could see he was really uncomfortable with all the pampering from Nya. Why don't you come with us to the parade?" Finishing, we got and went to see the parade. 

Timeskip to when they were out the door and at a cafe. 

Zane's POV 

We sat down after we ordered our stuff. Jay in front of me, Lloyd and Cole next to me. 'I need to tell Jay now or there will never be a chance again.' "Hey guys can I say something real quick." They turned to look at me, even Jay! "Ummm..." I breathed in and out to calm myself. "I like someone in the group." Cole and Lloyd just gave a look to just say it. "Thanks okay bud. Here if you need to practice on me that's fine." Jay smiled as always, blushing, I did as he said. This went on for 10 minutes probably so he knew I was comfortable. "Alright now just confess to Cole or Lloyd." I sighed, 'He doesn't get it'. He looked at me blankly. "Why have you said anything yet?" The other knew what's going on and looked at each other. Jay still being confused I decided to say something. "I have Jay." I put my face in my hands because of two things,1.my face was probably a bright pink by now, 2. I was scared of what Jay would say if anything. "Zane you should see him."
