NOBODY'S POV
All the contestants gathered around four, eager and a tad impatient for the Cake At Stake. Four started to recover team ICE CUBE for the voting. "Team ICE CUBE, you lost last time, so the voters decided to vote one of you off! Each object safe, gets a speck of dust!" The blue number chirped, showing each votes of each object. after a few, it was down to Donut, Gelatin, and Spongey. "Whatever.." Gelatin sighed. "Gelatin! Be more polite!!" Scolded donut as he gave Gelatin a glare. Gelatin rolled his eyes.
After Four had showed the votes, Spongey was last, leaving him to soon be eliminated.
"Wait, that leaves me, that means I'm out!" Spongey said as he looked to Four. "Spongey, you got a record of 22845 votes! So your out." Four said, showing the votes. "I'm sorry for letting you all down, I was just feeling lonelyy.." Spongey said dramatically, Four then got ready to suck up Spongey. As Four tried however, he was struggling due to his size. Half way through, the eliminated contestants got an idea..
Earlier through the day, The eliminated contestants had gotten an idea of trying to escape the EXIT. They created a giant stack of chairs, desks, Etc to try and reach Fours mouth, to try and find, well, an exit to the EXIT.
"Guys, look! We should climb through spongey, his holes are connected to the outside world." Said Liy below pencil on the tower, pointing at Spongey. "Are you serious?! That's like- beyond disgusting!!" Said Match, as she even despised touching Spongey. Pencil agreed with Match. "Face it you guys, Four's mouth is too high, you wanna escape or not?" Liy glared, Pencil and Match rolled their eyes. "Yeah I'm bailing." Said pencil as she hopped down along with match.
"Woah, wait, guys. Spongey's holes are stretchy, we can climb through!" Loser stated, climbing through with other contestants. Soon enough, they had been able to pop out from Spongey's holes. Four noticed this, and grew frustrated, as they tried even harder to suck them up. Which, was successful. The contestants and fell back through. Firey Jr had tried to go through, but Spongey happened to be flammable, which had set him on fire." Sorry for physically harming You Spongeyy!!-" said Firey Jr as he fell back into the Exit. As the fire from inside had gotten to Four and burned them, he fell backwards, popping out Loser and Spongey. "Agh!" Four yelped, X coming up to him with a juice box and a worried face. "Four-? Would you like a juice box to make you feel better?-" X said with a raised brow.
(short) X'S POV
While Four was getting up, I couldn't help but notice something in the sky, it was.. green? I might've been seeing things, but I was still curious.
FOUR'S POV
"Huh..?" I said as I heard X's voice. I noticed Loser and Spongey out of the exit and onto the ground. "ACK!! You two demons need to go BACK to the exit!" I got up, screaming at them, until I started to chase after them shortly, leaving them running away.
But, I was interrupted by someone.
X's POV
As I tried to calm down the other contestants, there was a loud sound. A thud. I looked over towards Four and there was.. another number? As I got a closer look.. it was a Two number. I never recall seeing them in the Equation playground..
(edit 9/2/2023: i know it was confirmed two and four were related, and i know some ppl had confusion abt whether four remembered two in this. lets say that in this AU, they are still related, they just dont remember it since two was never really in the equation playground to begin with, so long lost siblings ig, lol.)
They had interrupted Fours chasing, letting Loser and Spongey return to the crowd of contestants. "Wh- HEY!! Get out of my way! I was chasing them-!!" Four yelled at the number. "Go- be over there with the other fans!" As Four pointed to the crowd of fans, the green number turned towards me and the crowd of contestants, completely ignoring Four.
"Hey everyone! Are you tired of battling for a dumb prize?" Said Two.
The contestants started to mumble until Taco spoke up. "No! Were battling for a BFDI, which is awesome!" Taco said, crossing her arms. "But is it really awesome?" Two began to go on about their 'amazing' powers, showing them off and persuading the contestants to join THEIR show. Was Two going to.. steal our show.. ?
