Honestly, with how seriously Blitzo ran the company, you didn't expect him to grant you a few days off. Well... Millie probably threatened him to.

So, now here you are, looking for a proper place to live. The alley was... cozy... to say the most. But, a good shower and a bigger wardrobe were needed to look your best to complete your job. And so, instead of resting like Millie had tried to make you do, here you were, wandering hell.

"That one's a bit... small..?" You whisper, passing a tiny apartment building.

In all honesty, the apartments were far smaller than you would like. At least, the affordable ones were.

You'd do your best to find a good one though, you had to at least try.

As you continue your walk, you notice a bright flashing sign 'Hazbin Hotel' beaming in the distance. You cock your head, deciding to at least try your luck there for now.

Your steps are quick and precise as you make your way over, stepping around dead bodies and strange puddles here and there. Honestly, a janitor would make bank here.

You stop, giving a half-hearted smile towards the.. friendly(?) looking hotel. You take in a deep breath before knocking, silently praying that it'd be within your price range.

"Good morning!" A cheery girl opens the door.

The blonde gives you a large smile, eagerly gesturing for you to enter. You happily oblige, walking through the door.

The sight that awaits you is... an attempt at a cozy atmosphere. Wallpaper is discolored in some spots, others barely holding onto the wall. A few lights are dimmer than others, some just completely shattered.

"Ah! Uh.." you're at a loss for words.

The blonde glances at you with pleading eyes before turning her attention back to the shabby hotel.

"Well, uh, I'm Charlie!" She introduces herself, "and this is the Hazbin Hotel! A place for rehabilitating sinners!"

You gawk at the statement, looking around in new fascination. Perhaps this place wouldn't be so bad.

Charlie starts rambling about the hotel, going on about some kind of extermination(?) before you stop her.

"I'm sorry but, I don't really care about the details much." You give her a small smile, "How much is it per night?"

Charlie's unmoving smile grows brighter as she speaks, "For people who want to be rehabilitated? Nothing!"

You immediately brighten up at her statement, completely ignoring the weird look the girl in the corner is giving the blonde. You smile, shaking her hand.

"Well, I'd love to get rehabilitated! Two bird with one stone, really."

The girl giggles at your unexpected enthusiasm as she leads you upstairs to your room, passing a few others who you assume are either guests or staff.

Maybe hell truly wasn't as bad as you thought it to be.

You stop in front of a door, a few scratches etched into the surface. You ignore it, opting to turn the brass doorknob.

"This is your room!" Charlie exclaims, stepping into the area.

A few bugs catch your eye, a small girl rushing in to kill them.

"That's Nifty, she's our pest control!"

A creepy giggle leaves Nifty's mouth as she stabs the cockroaches, a shiver going up your spine at her creepy grin. Well.. at least you wouldn't have to worry as much about bugs.

"This is your bed, and that's your bathroom. Ooh! Look at this wonderful view from your balcony too!" Charlie excitedly shows you around the room, making you laugh at her spunk.

She reminded you of someone you used to know.

"Well, anyway, I'll leave you be! We have mandatory group exercises everyday at 6 pm, and optional ones throughout the day!"

You nod, making a mental note to get back before six. Your green eyes watching as she leaves. You let out a small sigh, sitting on the edge of your new bed.

You truly got lucky with this one.

You raise a lanky arm, sniffing the appendage before nearly gagging. Perhaps it'd be better to take a shower before going to bed.

✨🪳✨

You sigh, drying your hair with a small towel as you walk to your bed. You examine the sheets for a moment, shrugging before throwing yourself over the mattress.

You truly couldn't be bothered to dress right now.

You sigh into the stiff furniture, relishing in the feeling of a softer surface to rest on for once.

You basically blink before you're wrapped in the comfortable feeling of sleep, not even covering your naked body before passing out.

Unbeknownst to you, your decision would soon be your downfall.

"Okay guys, let's surprise him!" Charlie practically vibrates where she stands as she passes around confetti canons and party poppers to everyone else.

Angel Dust looks at the princess with uncertainty, "You sure..? I uh... I don't think this is a good idea." He speaks.

"Oh don't be silly Angel! We've given him an hour to finish everything he needs to. He's probably wondering why we didn't do anything more to welcome him!"

Charlie leads the group to your room, Husk groaning at the dumb idea.

Your door is thrown open as loud bangs sound. Confetti is spread everywhere as you shoot up from your slumber.

"Huh!?" You shout.

Your eyes land on the faces of the hotel guests and staff, their faces growing red bit by bit.

"Well, look a-" Your door is slammed closed, cutting off the spider demon.

A muffled "Sorry!" reaches your ears as you stare in confusion. Your eyes trail down, landing in your exposed body.

FUCK YOU DIDN'T DRESS BEFORE PASSING OUT!

Your cheeks erupt in shades of red, putting tomatoes themselves to shame.

God that was embarrassing.
