The Grand Feast of the Undead

Blood splattering everywhere, people running for their lives, doing the best they can to defend themselves, multiple people getting bit on the arms, neck, legs and some are getting fully devoured screaming in agony as the dead rips them open. We were out of breath, we didn't know where to go, suddenly the dead bodies that were lying on the ground got re-animated, twisting their bodies in a weird manner, suddenly their head snapped towards our direction, noticing us. The zombies started to dash towards us, it was fast, "run!" I shouted, we acted fast then ran, at this point we didn't know where to go, every building is filled with the zombies and there's nowhere to go. We ran towards the old building in our university, just the right side of the new building we were in, as we stepped inside the entrance, a horde of zombies greeted us, we halted in our tracks, one of my friends John slipped from a pool of blood making him land on his back, Jay and Chris acted fast and helped him up then we started running outside again. The set of zombies that were dashing towards us were still heading towards our direction and to add up to that the horde of zombies from the building are also running towards us, we got nowhere to go.

"This way!" Leone shouted, he found an opening by the left side towards the alley where the old building and another building meet, we went dashing to the alley before it was too late, a couple of zombies are also there devouring students, as we were running in the alley, one zombie came out from nowhere and jumped on Leone making him fall to the ground pinning him down with the zombie on top of him, he used his arm to block the zombies attack, pushing its chest away from him. Chris grabs the zombie by its shirt then throws the zombie away from Leone, the other helps Leone up, another zombie comes out from nowhere and jumps towards Chris, Chris dodges just in time but the zombie ends up knocking Jay over, Leone pulled Jay back in his feet then  we continued running to the back of the building which has an alley turning right towards a fence exit door which the university guards use as an exit during normal days. As we turn right, to our luck there were no zombies and the path is clear but the horde of zombies are still following us. As we arrived at the fence exit door to our dumb luck it was locked.

We heard the zombies closing by, "fuck! what do we do, what do we do!?" said by Jay in panic, "just climb! climb!" Leone said, we climbed the fence one after another, Annie was having a hard time climbing, I helped Annie climb and gave her a boost, as we look back, the horde of zombies are now closing in, Jay, John, Leone and Annie successfully made it to the other side of the fence and now there's only me and Chris who are still inside, "guys you need to hurry up!" Annie shouted in panic. Chris and I started to climb as fast as we could but a zombie caught up and grabbed my legs, my hands slipped due to the force, making me almost fall over but luckily I got a hold of the fence just in time, Chris kicked the hands of the zombie making its grip on my legs loose then I pulled my feet away. Chris and I successfully landed on the other side of the fence with our other friends, the horde of zombies still behind us shaking and pushing the fence to get to us, the fence shook and it was nearing its limit, " we can't stay here" Leone said.
