It was time.  Tallulah and I were waiting at our secret place in the woods.  Within a few minutes, we heard rustling in the bushes before Dapper and Leonarda popped out into the open.

"Leo, Dapper, hey!" I greeted the two.

"Hey!" Leo greeted back as she pulled Tallulah and I into a hug.

"So what's the plan?" Dapper asked.

"Well," I said, explaining what we had come up with, "we are making a cuff like bracelet thing. Using a chip and some coding plus a couple wires and some glass, we're hoping that it will work and make our tíos visible to others."

"The glass will be used to create reflections on the light around them while the coded chip will hopefully bend said light," Tallulah chipped in.

"Oohhhhh that makes sense," Leo said.

"Well then, let's get to it," Dapper said enthusiastically.

I got to work coding a way for the light around me to bend.  And through a lot of trial and error, and accidentally almost blinding everyone in the process, I finally figured it out.  Repeating the process, minus the blinding everyone bit, I got the four chips coded and ready to be put with the rest of the project.

I looked up after finishing the last bit of coding and realized that the sky was getting brighter. We had been working all night and didn't even realize it. I looked at the others to see that they had completed building two of the four cuff bracelets.

"Guys we might have to put this on hold until later," I suggested while point at the sky. We all quickly went our separate ways and agreed to meet again that night to finish our work.

I was honestly excited to be able to prove to everyone that I wasn't just imagining everything. I quickly headed home and laid down in bed. I closed my eyes in hopes of getting at least a few minutes of sleep. And those few minutes I was granted as Papa woke me up about 10 minutes later. At least I think it was 10 minutes. I'm not sure.

I got ready for the day then headed out to kitchen to be greeted by Papa Phil making avocado toast. While we ate I was told we would be spending the day at Wilbur and Tallulah's house. It was perfect. Tallulah and I could talk some more about where we were at on our project. We could also talk with our tíos without people telling us we were crazy.

We got to Wilbur and Llulah's house, greeting them when we did. The four of us were talking for a bit. Every now and then I would hear Tío Techno say something to Wilbur. Then he called Wilbur 'Will-i-am' and it made me giggle. Everyone just looked at me.

"What's so funny?" Wilbur asked me, genuinely curious.

"Oh nothing Will-i-am," I told him using the same nickname that Techno used. He gave me a very confused look before returning to his conversation with Papa.

Eventually, Papa and Wilbur told me and Tallulah that we could go play as long as we were careful so the two of us headed off to the nearby pond. Tallulah immediately started asking me questions about why I called Wilbur by a nickname.

"Tío Techno called Wilbur 'Will-i-am' and it sounded funny to me," I explained to her. "Oh how are the bracelet cuff things coming along? I was too busy figuring out the coding that I didn't check in on it."

"They're coming along great," Tallulah told me. "We should be able to finish them and try them out tonight."

"That's good," I breathed a sigh of relief. "Now no one can call us crazy or imaginative."

"Yeah!" Tallulah said, jumping up and down a bit. "Maybe we should try them tomorrow, in front of Papa and Abuelo?"

"That's a great idea!" I exclaimed. "And we can get Dapper and Leo to bring their parents too!"

    "Let's do it!" Llulah exclaimed.
