"Is he dead?" That's the worst thing to say, or for anyone to hear! Yeah, but being poor leaves a very less morals in your hands, and even little regard for things called life stuff.

"Give way, please!" I've been pushing my way forward through the river of the people but these people have no mercy, they keep pushing me out. "Please, I've to see my father!"

Although few of them were generous enough to bless me with those offensive side eyes but neither of them tried to even sway their bodies away to have me squeeze myself from between them. "For God's sake, let me see him! I'm his son, i have to help him please!"

There after that one single being though to bless me with a bit of kindness and gripped my collar pushing me towards the center with his full force. I was given very little time to react or to see that generous man's face but he did enough job to have me fall by the feet of last few people who were covering the sight of my father's body. There was no way i could push them away so i decided to crawl between their legs and make way for me myself.

"Appa! APPA!" There wasn't my father, or any human body. There was a big fish slashed open lying there on the ground and looking at me! What? It is, it's looking straight at me and i can hear it murmur something. But I don't have time for this. I have to help my father, get him back home where my mother and my little sister is waiting for us.

"Appa! Where's my father?" I turn around and asked no body in particular. There are atleast 20 people surrounding this thing yet no one cares that my father, the oldest fisherman known to be knowledgeable and  have the best fishes for the whole village haven't came back since 5 am? He always left early and then will come back with the largest number of fishes and verity like no body else. But he isn't here yet, it's been 4 hours, there's no way h would stay till the sun is so high in the sky. "Please, Mr. Sung, did you see him?"

My father wasn't a socialist he would get early here so he has to talk to leas people. People of our town though he was mute maybe that's why he never said a word to anyone but he was generous, he was kind and had many people who knew him. I know that cz there was multiple times when me and my sister So-nna would go to by groceries and other stuff and the shopkeeper will often give us something to eat for free saying my father often brings best fishes and sea creatures for him. My father was a know person in the village.

"Please, have any of you seen him?" They must have, if not then why were they murmuring about death and he was great man. There has to be a reason, they must've known my father or seen him. "So-nna is waiting for him at home, my mother isn't well i have to take him home now, please tell me."

I've been pleading then from last 5 minutes straight yet not a single soul happens to hear me or have mercy on me. I can feel my sweat dripping down my knees, i have to find my father. "Have mercy on me, uncle I'm of your son's age, help me please!"

"I don't know boy, he must've——" he stopped, cleared his throat, pushed me away and turned on his feet walking away right before my eyes. He was my friend's father, i thought atleast he would help me.

"All of you work with him yet no one heard or seen him? Please that's enough tell me where's he?" I was running out of energy, sun is burning up on my head making me sweat alot and my blood sugar level might have dropped cz i see black spots dancing before my eyes.

"He's dead boy, go home." One of the old man was passing by, he must've heard the commotion or maybe not but he yelled no really looking at me. "Must be the cursed little Prince. Told your father for thousand of time to not come here alone so early, the curse likes to linger around in darkness. Stubborn man never listened." My father indeed was stubborn, he indeed did what once got in his head but——
