"I'm Sage. My parents are Sharkboy and Lavagirl I have electricity, telekinesis, ice, flight, lava, and speed powers. I'm engaged."
"Tiger. Same parents as Sage but with Flight, invisibility, mind control and reading, telekinesis, and sharp claws."
"Trinity. Mother is Queen Iris of Ephedia. And I have crystal magic."
"Star. Same as Trinity. I have a son though. Jason."
"I'm Violet. I have chaos magic."
"Kara. Crystal magic."
"Good. So get to know each other while I figure out a plan. Explore. Who knows how long we will be here."

Emma was in the training room boxing when Midnight walked in.
"You seem like a good fighter."
"Thanks. My enemy trained me well."
"I hear you. My dad was the one who taught me most of my skills. Sad that he's no longer my father. Now he's the one I'm trying to take down."
"The director was like my father. Before I found the truth, he was like a father to me. I owe my skill to him as much as it hurts to say."
"Did you and Wild Card ever suffer because of him? Like your relationship?"
Emma froze before sitting down silently
"We did. My job was to make him trust me and then eliminate him. I couldn't do it though. And I think he's never trusted me the same again. He doesn't show it but I know he doesn't."
"I'm sorry."
"It's cool. Did you?"
"Yeah, at first my dad's reputation made me out to be a bad person. Then someone tried to take everyone's powers and I absorbed most of my father's magic. And finally, he was brought back to life with the magic I never absorbed and he tore our relationship apart. I'm just glad he's safe."
"Hopefully they all will be. That's what we're here for."

Sage walked into a target practice room where Winter was shooting spikes at the targets.
"Nice aim."
"Thanks. I've been practicing."
"I've been going around getting to know everyone's stories. What's yours?"
"I was kidnapped. Tortured for god knows how long. When I came back my kidnapper came after me and nearly tore my relationship with Wild Card apart. We had her memory erased but it obviously came back."
"I'm sorry."
"I'm over it. What's yours?"
"I was the youngest Heroic. Because of my powers, I was put on the team. I rarely had time for my relationship so after the alien invasion I made the tough decision of breaking up with Wild Card. I moved away. But then someone found me and tried to take my powers away. Wild Card saved me and I vowed to myself that I'd never make the same mistake again."
"Guess we've all been through hell and back."
"You can say that again."
