Camila's Pov:

Jaden's birthday was 8 days ago, that night I really wanted to tell him how I felt about him but this girl told me to leave him alone and I didn't want to start any problems with her so I haven't been talking to him or going to their practices recently. "Hey Camila, can we talk for a second?" I turned around to see Jaden behind the wall of the skating rink "Uh sure! What's up?" I do a little twirl, skate to the entrance and go to where Jaden's was standing. "You haven't been to practices and you've been ignoring me since the night of the party." I smiled a little at his words because he actually cares if I'm talking to him or not. "Why? You miss me?" I joked and he actually smiled "Yeah, I did." he put my hand in his. "This girl at the party told me to leave you alone and I didn't want to cause any problems with her so I left you alone like she said." his smiled faded a little bit "You don't have to worry about it now because I'm talking to you right now and you're holding my hand." he looked sown at our hands and smiled. "Wanna go somewhere? I've missed you alot Camila." "Sure, let me change my shoes." We left the building and when we got to his car, he held the door open for me. Halfway through the drive I grabbed his hand and put it in mine then I used the back of his hand to rest my cheek on while our hand were still interlocked. We pulled in to a gas station and got slushies, mine was cherry while Jaden's was blue raspberry. We left the gas station and he took me home.

I open the door and close it slowly just in case my dad is home but the living room is empty and my dad's car isn't in the driveway so I hurry to walk upstairs when I hear my dad "Who were you with?" I turn around to see my dad standing in the kitchen with his arms crossed I go to speak but his facial expression changes into a confused look. "Why is your tongue purple?" I furrow my eyebrows at him "I had a slushie, and I was with Jaden." he then furrowed his eyebrows at me "Why were you out with him, and what slushie is purple? Did you get slushies with Jaden?" I throw my arms up and grit my teeth "Look dad, if you don't want me to hang out with Jaden's just say it but just know that I really like him and he's really sweet so I wouldn't listen to you." my eyes widened at what I just said and threw my hands to cover my mouth. My dad smiled "You can hang out with him, it's just you were out a little later than I expected and your tongue was purple." I instantly felt relief "Yeah I got slushies with Jaden, one thing let to another and we kissed. There is that explanation better?" I laughed and joined him in the kitchen. He laughed too "I made food if you want some its in the microwave." I got my food, ate and FaceTimed Jaden when I was ready for bed.

J: Hey Cam.

C: Hi J how are you?

J: I'm amazing after that kiss.

C: Yeah, my dad asked me why my tongue was purple and I told him.

J: Oh shit is he mad?

C: No, he actually laughed with me and said I hang out with you if I want to.

J: Oh cool, you coming to practice tomorrow?

C: Yeah, but do you think you can come over really quick?

J: Sure, I'll be over in 10.

C: Ok.

Soon enough Jaden is standing in my doorway with a smile on his face, so I get up and hug him. We walk over to the little couch in the corner of my room and sit down, "So what's up?" I smile and look down "So I've been needing to tell you this for the longest time." he scratched the back of his head like he was worried. "Jaden I like you and I mean it when I say it. When we kissed earlier I lit up like a firework, and when I held your hand it made me feel safe. You make me so happy and I'm glad I went to the practice that day because if I hadn't I wouldn't be here right now and I wouldn't have met you." he smiled and pulled me into a hug "Camila I have a girlfriend." my smile faded and I could feel my eyes watering up, "It's you of course Camila!" he kissed my forehead and I smiled as a tear dropped from my eye. He got up and walked me to my bed and cuddled with me while I played with his hair.
