war zone

Liam had set up the archers so they were behind the ones with shields and he had archers with him, and all the rest of the guards had lines of archers. As soon as they had left, Liam had grabbed his swords, war hammer, and knife, and gone to the rear to bring the elf's forth as the demons had stayed back with the canon men, at this stage I had circled around behind the demons and fought along their right flank, taking a few hits myself, I was happy to take hits, but I hated taking wounds that would cripple me, which is what usually happens. I had been trying to weave my way through the war grounds, taking arrows and killing fairies when I could, but it was an intense battle, and I knew that in a few minutes I would need to go back to Liam, and help with the elf's as they could barely fight since the fairies were taking them out left and right. I looked around at the field and saw that the fairies had disappeared and I thought "Well, they had better not come back, I think they're finished", when I was finally relieved to see that I had indeed been right but i looked over and saw Liam laying down i ran over to him as did Lucian i pulled Liam onto his back only to see a fairy arrow sticking out of him I yelled to Liam "NO!!!" Liam would not answer me but I heard Lucian shouting to the other demons to grab a stretcher for Liam so I pulled out the arrow and hoped to god i wouldn't lose my fiancé now as the team of demons lifted Liam onto it. Lucian and I moved out, back to where we had to come from, and saw that some of the demons had finally got over to the medical tent. We went over there and Lucian looked over Liam, he was groaning softly and he looked like he was having a hard time breathing. Lucian looked over at me and saw that I was sobbing "lucx!?" I couldn't speak but Lucian had hugged me to show i'm not alone in this. Then the demon came over with a stack of bandages and medicine, he held it out to me. I took it and started to wrap myself up. At this moment all of the demons had circled Liam and started to heal him with their magic, I prayed for him, told him that I loved him and that we would get through this together. Lucian went and grabbed my other hand and told me he was here for me and that he would take care of me, as I do the same to him. I could hear Lucian telling the demons not to be sad for Liam but to be happy that he finally met his end. It was a week since the battle had occurred, and all of the injuries of the two sides had healed. but Liam has yet to wake up i fear he might die as Lucian has the same fear we soon found ourselves walking through a field of ash and dead bodies, I remembered that day and all of the horrors that happened, the horrible scream that had brought me down here, I couldn't bring myself to come here earlier The elfish soldiers of woodlands side had to carry the dead bodies of their comrades out of the war zone because a cannonball crashed through the street and almost destroyed it, the ground was stained with blood and debrie Liam woke up for the first time a couple of days later, but he was in so much pain he was screaming but the demons were able to make him go back to sleep I spent all of my time with him until he finally awoke once more after a couple of days of crying out. But this time he actually talked to me, he told me that he had missed me and Lucian so much, he loved us and that he didn't want to die he wanted to live a long happy life with us, I told him I loved him too and that we would get through this, and that we would be together as soon. He asked me what had happened to Lucian and I told him, I then asked him if he was going to die, I was terrified, I knew that if he wasn't gonna make it out of here me and lucian would would have to go on life without Liam I carried Liam to a room that was near the end of the hall, I called Lucian in and told him to help me carry Liam into the room. Lucian was a bit hesitant, not knowing how Liam was going to react to due to his past injuries . I finally got Liam into the room and laid him down on my bed, Lucian walked over and kissed Liam and told him that he loved him. I helped Lucian get Liam under the sheets but i stayed by the door, waiting for Lucian to come back. After a minute, Lucian came over to the door and said Lucian and I went to the kitchen to get something to eat for us and Liam I then took Lucian and sat him on the bed, as I was walking in a I could hear Liam scream for me, it was the first time he had said my name or said anything at all I sat next to him and told him I love him and I wanted us to be together I wanted to tell him the story of how I and Lucian had gotten here because I didn't know how he would take to the fact that we had to leave everyone Liam started crying and said he loved me too, I told him it wasn't his fault he had been badly injured and didn't want to die but I also didn't want to leave him here, he told me he understood and that he was still going to live a happy life with me, I hugged him tightly and told him that I would be ok without him, I told him I would be ok and we would be together soon. I sat with him and Lucian for a long time before Liam told us both how much he loved us The next day we went back into the battlefield with a few of the other elves, we found a few crates and emptied them into a cart to bring back to the castle. We found a few of the dead soldiers and I helped clean them and find them burial grounds.
