"Who are you?" My voice quivers. I expect to be met by a thief or some evil goblin but it's a massive jolly looking man. "I'm Rubeus Hagrid, keeper of keys and grounds at Hogwarts. You know what Hogwarts is right?" I shake my head. "No my aunt never told me.All she said was that it's a bad place." I look down. "Well that's just not true, you will find out soon." He reaches into his coat and hands me the letter I have been itching to read this whole time.I carefully open it and read aloud.

"𝒟ℯ𝒶𝓇 ℳ𝒿𝓈𝓈 ℳ𝓊𝓇𝓅𝒽𝓎, 𝓌ℯ 𝒶𝓇ℯ 𝓅𝓁ℯ𝒶𝓈ℯ𝒹 𝓉ℴ 𝒾𝓃𝒻ℴ𝓇𝓂 𝓎ℴ𝓊 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝓎ℴ𝓊 𝒽𝒶𝓋ℯ 𝒷ℯℯ𝓃 𝒶𝒸𝒸ℯ𝓅𝓉 𝒾𝓃𝓉ℴ ℋℴℊ𝓌𝒶𝓇𝓉𝓈 𝒮𝒸𝒽ℴℴ𝓁 ℴ𝒻 𝒲𝒾𝓉𝒸𝒽𝒸𝓇𝒶𝒻𝓉 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒲𝒾𝓏𝒶𝓇𝒹𝓇𝓎."

I hadn't even noticed my aunt until she yelled "She is not going to that disgusting school under any circumstance she will not end up like my sister!" Hagrid simply scoffed "And a muggle like you is going to stop me and Scarlett?" He turned to me. "We should go now, of course if you want too?" It wasn't a hard decision. Yes my aunt wasn't the worst but I would be better off anywhere else.

We were now in some random street in London. Hagrid went into some place called "The Leaky Cauldron" if we didn't go in there I wouldn't have noticed the small establishment. It's an almost dilapidated looking place with dim oil lamps.

"Ah Hagrid the usual I suppose?" I heard a strong voice call out. "Not today, young Scarlett here needs some help with her things." The moment my name was said I heard murmurs. Isn't her dad in Azkaban? He killed her mother. What if she's like him?

The last sentence got through to me.I would never ever kill an innocent person, especially one with a child. What's an Azkaban? My thoughts were biting at me and I felt sick.

"Are you alright?" Hagrid asked. I quickly snapped out of my state. "Yeah I'm just still so shocked magic exists." He nodded and continued to walk out of the bar. Then we stopped in front of a wall. "Hagrid are you sure we are in the right place?" I asked I definitely was not going to jump over that wall. Hagrid started tapping the wall with his umbrella. The bricks moved apart and revealed a beautiful street.

I was dazed. There were so many people. "I will go get your books and cauldron you find a wand okay?" Rubeus remarked stopping us in-front of a store that said OLIVANDERS in big bold letters. I took a deep breath and stepped inside.

A man with white frizzy hair rolled over to me with a ladder. "I've been waiting for you Miss Murphy. I remember when your parents brought their wands. Very smart students but now your dad..?" I nod not wanting to talk about the situation any further. "Right well here you go." He puts a stick in my hand and continues "12' Oak,Unicorn hair. . . We'll go on give it a flick!" A little intimidated by the man I gave the wand a flick and books flew out everywhere. "No definitely not!" He snatched the wand out my hand and disappeared into the depths of the wand shop. "Maybe this one?" He handed me another wand. "10' Spruce, Phoenix Feather." I once again waved it and this time a plant toppled over making a mess. I out the wand on the desk. The white haired man once again disappeared into the shadows. "Try this one.Elder, 11 Dragon Heartsring" At this point I was expecting the whole store blow up but I was greeted with a golden aura. Oliveander starts clapping "Yes that's the one! Your father had a very similar wand to you, elder woods are the hardest wands to manage. I hope you can figure out the right path."He smiled weakly.

After buying everything we needed Hagrid left me at the station. "I have to go but here's your ticket." I read the ticket. I re read it. 9 and 3/4? That doesn't exist. "But Hagrid this platform doesn't exis-" when I look up to face him he's gone.
