Chapter 4

"Did you really think I'd waste my time and stress myself this much if I don't want you to work for me?. I know I never interviewed you to see if you'd be a good secretary because I wanted to punish you but guess what there's no going back. Being a secretary ain't that difficult but I'm going to make you being my secretary really unbearable to see the level of torture you can undergo all because of your bad mouth. Meet my personal assistant nextdoor. She'll tell you what to do." He said the last part calmly.

"Err.... okay." I dashed out and went to his P.A's office.

We exchanged pleasantries, did a little introduction and that's how I got to know her name, Crystal. She explained everything I was supposed to do, told me about the main staffs around and then asked me to go get today's schedule ready. She directed me to where my cubicle and I thanked her afterwards.

I got the schedule ready and then went back to Gray's office. When I got in, he was sipping something which I assumed to be coffee and he gave me a hard glare.

"Don't you have any manners?."

"I'm sorry what?."

"Are you asking me a question or giving me an answer?." He asked and just then, someone came in. A guy.

"Anyone you understand." I rolled my eyes. The guy who came in gasped at my reply but Gray didn't budge. I guess he's getting used to it.

"Did you just talk back at me?" He asked calmly

"I'm sorry. I just didn't understand what you meant." I replied rather rudely. I just couldn't hold myself. He's so annoying. Making things hard for me. What do I even expect. After all, he's just a goddamn drug dealer.

"You know I'm starting to like you more. You're just doing things no one ever does to me. Well as time goes you'll surely learn how not to disrespect me". I sighed

"And yeah, always knock before coming into my office. That's what I was trying to tell you before you added more punishments for yourself."

"I didn't mean to talk back at you. I was just trying to...."

"It's okay." He said calmly and I just knew that more punishments are coming my way

"I like your new secretary Gray. She's so different." Said the guy who has been standing here. I completely forgot someone's here.

"Kenn. How many times have I told you not to come into my office without knocking." He said. Wait. Crystal told me about Kenneth. He's Gray's best friend and also the  Manager here.

"Oh c'mon. Why should I knock before coming in?. He asked and Gray just sighed. He then came close to me.

"Hey. I'm Kenneth. The manager here and also Gray's best friend". He said nicely extending his hand for a handshake. He's so friendly.

"I'm Stella. The new secretary here. Nice to meet you. I said as we shook hands.

"You guys can do your introduction outside and not inside my office". Gray said and Kenn just rolled his eyeballs before dropping some files on his table.

"Bye Stella. And by the way, you're very beautiful". He said and Gray scoffed.

"Thanks." I smiled

"Sure" he returned the smile before walking out. I then turned to Gray.

"Wow. I thought you'd follow him outside so you guys will continue your lovey dovey conversation." He rolled his eyes and I just kept mute. Don't wanna cause anymore troubles for myself".

"What's my schedule for today?"

"You have a meeting with the share holders by 11:30. That's 30 minutes from now."

"I came to work late because of you. You're gonna pay." He said and I scoffed inwardly.

" Go on"

"Mr Jason is going to visit by 2:00. Also, you're going to grab something to eat by 4:00. That's all.

"Alright. You can go."

"Okay" I said turning to leave

" Get ready. You're coming with me to the meeting."

"I thought that's the work of your P.A"

"Says someone who doesn't know the work of a secretary"

"I know what a secretary does. I only said all that because I didn't want to be your secretary." He feigned a gasp

"Whoa. So you lied. Well you're going to accompany me to all my meetings. That's your punishment."

"Jerk" I muttered

"Heard that." He said and I dashed out of his office.
