"I'm so sorry sir I just wanted to tell you that dinner is ready but i lost and balance and fell". I said also trying to get up.

"You're so clumsy" he said while I tried picking up my stuffs. I let out a loud groan when i tried picking up some of my stuffs which went under the bed.

"What?!!" He yelled

"I'm trying to get my stuffs from under the bed"

"Suite yourself" he walked out giving me the opportunity I've been looking for. I waited for him to be out of sight before digging into action. I picked up my stuffs and stylishly set up the spy cameras. I then went downstairs when I was done.

"Finally" Gray mumbled as soon as I got to the dining room.

"Uhm... I should take my leave now." I turned to leave.

"Wait." I faced him

"You're not leaving now. You'll stay till I'm done eating." I gulped down nothing.

"Uh... Okay." I took a seat and he was staring at me instead of eating.

"You're not going to eat?"

"Uhm..."

"Did you poison the food or you just want to watch me eat. Go get some for yourself." I felt relieved. I was hungry by the way. He seems kinda nice but I guess something is always making him go cold. Well, he's still a damn drug dealer.

"Okay" I went to get some for myself and when I came back, I still saw the food untouched. Was he waiting for me?. Well that's nice.

"I wanted you to taste the food first incase you poisoned it. Not like I was waiting to eat with you" he rolled his eyes.

"Fine then" I sat down and took some pasta into my mouth. He kept on looking at me like he was expecting me to grow a horn or something.

"It's harmless, you can eat"I mentally rolled my eyeballs. He took some into his mouth. I watched him as he chewed and swallowed. I could swear that I saw a hint of amazement in his eyes but it immediately got replaced by his icy look.
We ate in a comfortable silence and I cleared the dishes afterwards.

"Thanks for the pasta. By the way, your food tasted nice" my cheeks turned red. Why am I even blushing.

"You're welcome" I smiled.

"Don't be so full of yourself. If you want to be a good chef, you still need to learn how to cook better than this". He snorted. Jerk. I glared at him and he chuckled. Wow. He's so full of surprises today.

"I'll be on my way now" I breathed out reaching for my handbag.

"No"

"No?. No what?"

"No you're not going home until I fall asleep and since it's getting late you might eventually spend a night here." He smirked. Oh Lord. What now?.

"Uhm... sir. I really need to feed my puppy. She hasn't eaten anything since I left home"

"Well I don't care. You can go home after I fall asleep. As of now you can help me sort out some documents. Okay?" He raised a brow.

"Not like I have a choice" I muttered. He's keeping me here because he wants me to help him work. Jerk.

"Whatever" he went upstairs and I followed. We went to his room. I wonder if he doesn't have an office here. I helped him do some work and he went to bed after we were done. Well not without reminding me that I'm to be here till he falls asleep. I sat on the couch watching him. Jerk. Why is he taking so much time to fall asleep. I thought he was exhausted. Why is he finding it hard to sleep.

I was so busy on my phone that I didn't even know when he fell asleep. I decided to finish up what I was doing on my phone before leaving. About thirty minutes later I stood up with the intention of going home when I heard Gray scream. They were beads of sweat all over his face. He was having a nightmare and I could tell it was really affecting him. I went to him and tried waking him up. After several attempt he got up and asked for water. He seemed really scared. I wonder what's wrong with him.

He lay down after gulping down the water I gave him. I pat his back until he fell asleep. I lay on the couch and decided to stay for the night since it's already late and he might also need some help.
