Chapter 1. Recap

Mckenna's POV:

"Okay so I know these past few days you haven't been able to keep up with my emotions and mood swings and I'm sorry for that but there's reasonable explanation for it. And no I'm not on my period if that's what you were thinking. The truth is that..... I'm pregnant."

One month later......

Things have been going well between Ross and I. He was a bit freaked out when I told him but then he went back to his normal, obsessed with me self.

"Babe, Don't leave yet." Ross shouts.

"I have to go to work Ross." He shakes his head.

He gently grabs my waist.

"Ross, I really have to leave or I'll be late." He leans down and kisses me.

"I love you. And I love you too." He kisses my belly.

I giggle. "I love you too." I kiss his cheek.

I notice he's kind of hot. "Are you okay?" I ask.

"What? Me? I-I'm perfectly f-fine." He stutters.

"Are you sure? Here. Come sit. I'll get you water."

I grab him a bottle of water while he sits on the couch. "Here." I hand it to him. He opens and drinks the whole bottle in about ten seconds. "Woah." I say.

"I'm okay. Just go to work babe." I hug him.

"Okay. I'll see you later."

He smiles. I get up and head to my car. He hasn't really been himself this week. I'll call Laura.

~Phone call~

L: Hey Mckenna. Glad to know you remembered my number.
M: Oh hush. I'm worried about Ross. Can you go to the house? I have work. he says he's fine but he's not.
L: Yeah. No worries. So what's new?
M: Oh. Um, nothing really. Same old boring life. Gotta go. Bye.

Okay so nobody knows I'm pregnant yet except Ross and I. We should tell our families but I'm not ready yet. I don't know what to say. Well one, they'll know Ross and I are intimate and it's awkward. I arrive at work finally.

"Hey girl." My co-worker says.

I don't like her. She's too peppy and she tried to steal Ross from me. I swear every girl I meet tries to steal him. Except Hazel and Rydel. "Hi." I mumble.

"What's wrong?" I sigh.

"Something is wrong with Ross." She frowns.

"Oh. That happened with my last boyfriend and turned out he didn't love me anymore. Well, tootles."

She'll say anything. But what if she was right? Maybe Ross didn't love me anymore. Wait, that's crazy talk. I think. I decided to call him.

~Phone call~

R: Hey.
M: Uh. Hi. A-Are you okay?
R: Yeah. I told you I'm fine.
M: Okay. Just, if you ever feel down, tell me. Okay?
R: What's the matter baby girl? Why are you so worried?
M: I'm sorry. I probably sound like a stalker or something. I'll leave you alone.
R: Wait no-
M: Bye.

I hang up. Maybe I am being paranoid a bit. I just have to calm down.

I am finally done work. My feet hurt so bad. I just want to go home and cuddle with my big teddy bear. That's Ross. I gave him that nickname cause he reminds me of a teddy bear. I stopped by Olive Garden and got Ross and I food. When I arrived home, it was quiet. "Ruf! Ruf!" Bella barked. "Hey girl. Where's daddy?" I say kneeling down to her.

"McKenna? Is that you?" I see Laura come down."Hey. What-"

"Come upstairs." She grabs my hand and drags me to our room.

"Oh my god! Ross?!" I gasp. "Don't come. I don't want you to see me like this."

I sit next to him. "I should have stayed home." I say.

"No baby. It's not your fault. Go home with Laura. I'm too sick. It's not good for the baby." Laura gasps.

"YOUR PREGNANT?!" I smile.

"Oh. Yeah. Three and a half months." She hugs me. "Congrats." She says.

"Thank you. Don't tell anyone." She frowns. "Why not?" I sigh.

"Um.. I don't really like the thought of mine and his parents knowing we.... you know. It's embarrassing." Ross laughs.

"What's so wrong with them knowing your good in bed. Reallly good."

I shove a pillow on his face and roll my eyes. "I won't tell. I think Ross is right though. You should stay at my house and I'll watch him. Just for a week or so."

Tears from in my eyes. "I want to stay." Ross groans in pain. "He needs me." He shakes his head. "Listen to her babe. I don't want you to get sick." I run away crying. I go into the bathroom and curl up on the floor. They can't make me leave.

"McKenna?" He calls. He enters the bathroom.

"Why are you crying baby girl?" He sits next to me.

"I want to stay with you and take care of you. I want to be able to wake up to your face everyday. Can I please stay here? I am begging you. Please Rossy?"

I say looking into his eyes. "Don't cry. I know you don't want to go but think about our baby. I want you both to be healthy." I shake my head.

"Please don't make me go." I crawl on top of his lap. "Please? Let m-me stay w-with you."

I press my lips onto his. "Baby we can't." He pushes me away. "Ross please?" I whisper.

I kiss him again but this time I don't let him push me away. I hold onto the back of his neck. He puts his hands on my back.

"Should I wait for her?" He pulls away. "I know you want to stay but you have to go." I shake my head.

"I packed clothes for you to take to Laura's. I'll call everyday."

He stands up. "Lets go." Laura says. "No!" I cling onto Ross. "Laura, grab her."

She pulls me away from Ross. "NO NO NO!! LET ME GO!" I scream. "I love you so much baby girl." Laura takes me to her car and we leave.

So much drama!! I'm so happy to finally be able to share the next book with you. I'll try to update as often as I can but school, ya' know. There's A LOT of drama in this book. A lot! But I think it makes it more entertaining. Keep reading!
