A Different Perspective

While Ink was finally getting rest and a peaceful sleep, another who was close to him, couldn't say the same...

Blue huffed while kneeling on the ground. Beaten and bruised badly. He had some blood drip from his mouth, shaking heavily. "Had enough? Or do you think you can handle more?~" 'Dream' said. Blue looking up at him. "Why are you doing this Dream...what did I ever do to you..." Blue said. Dream rolling his eyes. "I'm sick of that name..." 'Dream' mumbled with a slight growl. "Simply because it's your fault Ink is in this mess, if you hadn't stolen him from me, non of this would have happened." "My fault?! This is all your doing! I was only being the caring partner I was meant to be!- You just hurt him once you got the chance!!!" Blue yelled, 'Dream' grabbing him by the neck. "So? It wouldn't have happened if you had just backed away. But. I think he's going to forget you eventually, I mean, your dead~" 'Dream' sneered. "And he's already starting to fall for someone else." He said. "I don't care...I love Ink...but...he believes I'm gone...and he's going through a lot...All I've ever wanted was for Ink to be happy...and...if it's not with me...that's fine...I'm not a crazy psychopath like you-" Blue spat with a slight growl.

"You're a lot dumber than I thought." 'Dream' said, throwing him down, Blue yelling out a little. "Agh..." He twitched. 'Dream' snickering. "Hmm. I think it's time I put the mask away. I'm getting rather sick of being called that happy yellow freak." He said. Blue staring at him. "W-What..." He said. 'Dream' changing over to be completely dark and basically look like Nightmare but with more royal clothing. "Ah~ much better." "W-what- who-" Blue said, his eyes shaking in fear at what he just saw. "Call me Shattered captive~ Don't worry, Dream's fine. For now." He laughed. "Once I give Ink a little time to himself, make him think he's safe, I'll be able to get him back and keep him. It was a shame that Dream was going to give up, but, I suggested giving a little boost." He smirked. Blue growling. "You leave him alone-!" Blue yelled. Shattered grabbing him and squeezing him tightly with a tentacle, Blue screaming in pain, due to his body already being broken. Shattered dropped him, Blue collapsing. "And don't worry, it'll be over soon, once Ink is mine, I'll be able to let you go." He snickered. Blue huffing and shaking, unable to move or really say anything due to the intense pain. Shattered laughing. "Well, I should check on Dreamy, make sure he's not planning to escape." He said. "Goodnight little blue~ rest in pain~" he laughed, walking off and to another room, Blue going unconscious.

Shattered hummed while going into a room and going to the mirror, tapping it a little. "Oh Dreamy~" he said, the mirror then forming to show Dream in it. Dream sitting on the 'ground' in the said mirror side, crying. Shattered just laughed. "You're pathetic Dreamy~" he said, Dream lifting himself up once he looked and saw Shattered. "Let me out! Stop this! I didn't want this...!" Dream screamed. "No. You are nothing but a traitor now. You'll stay there forever. And soon, I won't have to worry about you getting out." He said. "W-What...b-but you can't control the mirror world!-" "I can't. But. I can be in control of what mirror you stay in. And right now a friend of mine is making a nice little home for you. And you'll be stuck with me forever. In your itty bitty space~" he chuckled. "N-No!- You can't do that!-" "Oh, but I already am~" Shattered purred. "And soon, no one will get in my way. Ink will fall for me." Shattered said. Dream shaking his head. "No!!! Leave Ink alone-! He doesn't belong to anyone!- He's his own person!- and he'd never fall for the likes of someone like you!-" Dream cried out. "Maybe. But, I'm not limited in what I do~ The child he bares is heavy a setback. So he can't do much as of now. Which means, it's an open field of opportunity." Shattered said. Dream shaking his head. "You're horrible! Horrible!!!" He screamed.

Shattered laughing. "So what? I enjoy what I do." He said. "Well, that's all I needed to say. Rest up Dreamy, you'll be moving shortly. "N-No!" Dream screamed, Shattered closing the mirror. Dream out of sight, Shattered walking out of the room with a laughter. Dream shook and fell to the ground again. "What have I done...what have I done?!" Dream screamed to himself and started to sob. "This is all my fault-!" He cried and shivered. "I have to get out..." He said as he tried to calm himself and he looked around before seeing a small sliver of a mirror being open. He looked back at where the other opening was, seeing it was completely shut. "...better than n-nothing..." He gulped a little as he ran over to it and jumped up, grabbing the open corner and started to rip it. Panting a little, being terrified Shattered might come back, he started to pick up the pace. Until he felt like he could slide through. He started to crawl through the opening, but once he was threw, he fell to a hard ground. He shook a little and looked around. "I-I'm out-...w-where...?" He said as he looked around and saw he was...in a forest. "How am I..." He said but then turned to look, seeing a small somewhat broken mirror hanging on a tree. "Well...that's definitely not creepy..." He said. "I have to find out where Shattered is hiding...I have to find Blue...I have to fix this..." He said, getting up and walking through the forest now.

He walked for what felt like hours until he started to feel dizzy. "Mmm...I can't stop now- just for a silly headache...I have to...keep going..." He twitched, he continued to walk while holding himself. "Ugh...I don't...feel so well...n-no! I can't- stop!-" Dream continued to argue with himself. He walked until coming across a path and he twitched while breathing heavily. He followed the path until seeing what looked like a small house in the distance but, his vision was becoming blurred. "No...just a little farther..." Dream said, starting to shake. He walked but soon started to stubble and found it hard to keep a balance. He shook his head a little, trying to keep himself together. But was finding it difficult. "I-I have to..Ink...Shattered...B...Blue..." Dream's body and magic eventually gave up on him, causing him to collapse backwards. Only a few minutes passing until someone found him. "Oh geez, another one? Is this how I'm always gonna meet new people?" The other said with a sigh, then called for someone else, Horror. "Hey Horror! Mind helping me over here?" The other called, Horror walking over and humming. "What is it-...Farm..." He said, once he saw Dream, he sighed and picked him up. "Welp. This night just got a lot more difficult." He said. "You know them?" He asked. "Yes. It's Dream. Nightmare's brother and reason why Ink is at the castle." Horror said with a slight snarl. Dream groaning now being on Horror's shoulder. Farm humming. "Oh, I see." He said. "Well, what do you want to do with him then?" "You don't mind if he's with you here tonight? I can bring Nightmare here in the morning to see what we do with him." Horror said. "Eh, he seems like he won't wake up for a while, so I suppose it's not a problem." He said.

Horror nodding. "Ok. But. Just in case..." Horror started and then the two started to talk a little and brought Dream inside Farm's place, the next day was going to be a long one.
