I decided to make my second move. I already kissed her cheek, but that was out of jealousy. I carefully slid my hand into hers and interlocked our fingers. A few minutes passed and she took her hand back. Was she rejecting me? Of course. I'm such an idiot. A beautiful woman like (Y/N) would never feel that way towards me. I felt like crying.
"Where's the restroom?" She asked. Maybe she did Just have to go to the restroom. I hope so.
"Across the hall from my room."
"Thanks."
It started to bug me. Then I realized what she had told me at the airport. She liked both of us. She never told me which one she liked more. I decided to go ask her. I walked up to the restroom quietly and knocked softly on the door. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah. Well...not really. You can come in." It sounded like she had been crying. Or still is. I walked through the door and her head was once again in her hands. I sat in the edge of the tub and looked at her for a few moments because I didn't know what to say. Then I removed her hands from her face. What little makeup she had on was smeared across her face. She looked terrible but still very beautiful at the same moment. Her eyes were red and puffy. I felt very upset and out of instinct hugged her tightly. I held her like a baby and rocked backwards and forwards.
I kept shushing her and trying to comfort her. After a while, she was down to a sniffle with only a few tears slipping down her cheeks. "I-I-I'm s-sorry. Did I hurt your f-feelings?" She asked me.
"A little. What's wrong?"
"I already told you. I like Mark to. Your both so amazing but it's hard to choose between. The two of you. I want to love only one and still be friends with the other one of you. I want to tell Mark but I'm scared of his reaction. Im surprised I told you! You didn't actually reject my feelings either. Why not? I'm ugly and a terrible person that nobody will ever love."
I felt in a way hurt by her words. She was beautiful. I wanted to tell her. "(Y/N) your beautiful. Your an amazing beautiful person, and I'm sure he won't reject you. It's pretty obvious that he likes you back. But.....I...I love you."
She looked at me with wide eyes. "Really?" Of course I did.
"Yeah. I really do. and it will hurt me but it would hurt me even more if you were with me and not happy."
"Oh my god. It's so hard to choose. Thanks Jack."
"I understand. Your welcome (Y/N). I will always be here for you." I continued rocking her.
She nodded and then kissed my cheek and then there was a knock on the door. "Can I come in?" Mark. Of course.
"Sure." (Y/N) said just loud enough for him to hear. Before he came in, I set her on the toilet.
"Hey Jack?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I....talk to her in private?"
She nodded. "Sure."
I got up and left the room.
-----------------Marks POV----------------
Jack left the room and I was worried. (Y/N) was too beautiful to be this upset. "Hey."
She had her head in her hands once again. I heard her mumble something that I could only clarify as some sort of greeting.
"Are you alright?" She moaned as a response (get your head out of your bum I didn't mean it like that) "what's wrong? I'm always here for you."
"That's the problem."
"What do you mean?"
"I like you. A lot. But I like Jack too. It's so hard because I want to love you but I want to love him also. You both are amazing guys and each time I think I've found which one to go after, the other one does something that messing with my mind. It's so hard. I'm sorry. Jack already knows about it. I told him while you were looking for help in the airport." She still was hiding her face but I could see tears leaking out of her hands. I removed them and looked her in the eye.
"(Y/N), it's alright! I understand. Sean's an amazing person. I just hope you give me a chance." I said and kissed her on the cheek. I left her alone.
