Two Sides to Every Story//Harry Potter

- Chapter 11 -

Wednesday morning I was woken up by Pansy. I quickly got up and headed for the bathroom. I changed into my uniform and was about to start brushing my hair when Pansy cracked the bathroom door open.
"I'm heading to the great hall for breakfast", she said.
"Okay, I'll see you there."
I finished brushing my hair and teeth and then headed down the stairs of the girls dorms. I saw Mattheo sitting on the couch in the common room. He looked up and saw me.
"Where's everyone else?" I asked.
"They all headed to breakfast. I thought I would wait for you", he said.
"Oh thanks."
Mattheo and I walked together to the great hall. When we got there, we sat next to each other, across from Blaise and Pansy.
"Potions yesterday was honestly better than I thought it would be", said Blaise.
"I can't believe it was the first day and Snape already told Hermione to shut up four times", Pansy agreed.
"I'm surprised he didn't say anything to Potter", Draco said.
I agreed with them in my head.
"Well we have D-A-D-A with Harry after lunch today", Blaise said, "so maybe we'll get to witness the new teacher lean into him."
Draco rolled his eyes.
"Apa, we have D-A-D-A after this. And guess who's in our class?" Pansy asked with a smirk on her lips.
"Who?" I asked, already guessing who it was.
She smiled brightly. "You're favorite person! Erinyes."
I rolled my eyes dramatically. I was hoping that I wouldn't have anymore of my classes with her besides Potions.
Pansy laughed to herself. She thought Erinyes was annoying, but she had no where near the level of hatred that I had for her.
Mattheo leaned closer to me. "I have the same class, so I'll be there to calm you down if you feel like beating her up."
"You mean when I feel like beating her up", I said.
Mattheo smiled slightly.

Pansy and I walked down to the common room after getting the books we needed for our next class. We met Mattheo outside the common room. He turned and looked at us when we walked out.
"Ready?" he asked.
I nodded and started walking with him.
"Just so you know, we both have Arithmancy before lunch", I said.
"What is that class even about?" he asked.
"You didn't look at the class description when you signed up for it?"
"I just signed up for whatever class you were taking and hoped we would have it at the same time."
We turned the corner and saw the classroom straight ahead.
"You guys could seriously not live without each other", Pansy said.
Mattheo and I looked to each other and shrugged.
We were about to enter the room but someone called out my name. I turned around and saw Luna Lovegood walking up to me.
"You guys go ahead", I said to Matt and Pansy.
They nodded and headed inside. Luna and I walked up to each other.
"Hey Luna", I greeted her.
"I saw you walking and I just knew I had to say hello", she said in her regular dreamy voice.
"I meant to find you sooner, but I've been busy with other things", I explain.
"It's alright. I understand. How about we meet up sometime, when you're available, of course."
Most people annoyed me, and Luna wasn't free of that, but in my second year she would continuously say hello to me until I agreed to hang out. I did end up getting to know her, and she isn't as bad as I first thought. She's the type of person that I'll hang out with every couple months or so, which is good because if it were anymore than that, it would be too much.
"Sure", I said, and she smiled brightly.
"Good. I'll see you soon." She turned around and walked, almost skipping, away.
I turned around and was going to walk into the classroom, but I paused in my place when I saw Erinyes with Hermione walk in. I waited until I saw them take a seat, then walked in, trying my best to avoid her.
