Eddie's POV

I was at the LA 911 Tower.

My son, Christopher, was at school.

Then I got this random phone call.

It was Chris's school.

"Hello?" - Me

"Hi, is this Edmundo Diaz?" - Caller

"Yes, this is he." - Me

"Hi, this is Christopher's school." - Caller

"Is everything ok?" - Me

"I'm calling because Christopher doesn't seem to be feeling well. He's pale, stumbling, and he's saying that his stomach hurts and he has a fever. I was wondering if someone could come pick him up." - Caller

"Of- of course. I'll be right there." - Me

"What's going on, Eddie?" - Bobby

"It's Chris. He's sick, and I gotta go pick him up." - Me

"Alright, call one of us if you need help." - Bobby

"Will do. Thanks, cap." - Me

I drove to Christopher's school, and he was sitting in the medical office on the verge of crying.

"Hey there, buddy. Are you not feeling good?" - Me

He shook his head no.

I felt Chris's forehead and sighed.

"Alright. Come on, let's get you home. Can you stand up?" - Me

He nodded.

"Ok." - Me

I helped Chris stand up and walked him to the car.

"Where you wanna go? Home or Station?" - Me

"Station. Ahhh!" - Christopher

"Ok, ok, buddy. Breathe. I know. I know. I got you." - Me

We got to the station, and I laid Chris on a bed.

"Thought you were gonna take him home?" - Bobby

"He wanted to come to the station. And how can I say no to a sweet, sick kid?" - Me

"I'll give you that." - Bobby

After about 10 minutes, everyone went to work.

"Hey Bobby?" - Me

"Yeah, what's up? How's Chris?" - Bobby

"I think he's running a fever. We got a thermometer and Tylenol anywhere?" - Me

"Yeah, it's in the medical cabinet." - Bobby

I took Chris's temp, and it was 101°F.

I gave him some Tylenol, and he fell asleep.

After a few days, Chris felt a lot better, and that made me happy.
