I'm Glad I Met You ~ (Genmui)

6-Lunch time

After all , they are friends..

They entered the cafeteria side-by-side with beaming smiles on their faces..Tanjiro scanned the Cafeteria looking for his friends , which he spotted a few tables away.. , and as he promised , Genya was there...trying to pry a perverted simpy , Zenitsu off Nezuko...Inosuke was stuffing his face with Nezuko lunch and Kanao was trying to stop him..

"I'm gonna go join the line , you should get to that".Muichiro motioned to the group...
"HEH!! , your right!!".Tanjiro gritted his teeth , with the sight of Zenitsu roaming his hands all over Nezuko.., and started to get all flirty...With the sight of that , he hastily moved towards the group..

Muichiro on the other hand  was in a small line that was moving slowly , but it was peaceful..Nobody was causing ruckus , nobody wasn't bullying anyone to be the first served..They all just waited their turn..

Finally it was Muichiro's turn , he took up a tray and pointed out on what he wanted and didn't wanted , it was pizza for lunch and for the first time in school lunch  history  , the pizza smelt good and looked tasty...

"Hurry up!! , do you want these free sugar cookies sir!!?"..A girl with pigtails in hair spoke out , she wore two butterfly clips that were similar to kanao's but it was smaller and blue...Her hair was black , but her ocean blue eyes stood out..(Giyuu's secret love child?)..

"Umm , yes , thank you".Muichiro thanked the girl , she nod , while placing the desserts on his tray..

He got out the line , then walked towards , the so-called peaceful friend group and placed his tray on the table as he sat down beside a irritated Genya ,
"Hey Muichiro! , how was English class?".Kanao was the first to greet the light headed male , he only payed attention to the delicious pizza infront him , but answered Kanao's question , none the less..

"It....was...BORING!!!"..He blurted out ,then stuffed his mouth with food.."Not wanting to be rude , but I can relate, it was indeed very boring!!".Tanjiro , butted in..

"Oh yeah , well if you thought English class was boring , you should've been in history class with Mr.Rengoku...".Zenitsu spoked up , Tanjiro side-eyed him.."He went on and on and on about our ancestors , then he gaved us an home Work , that we're supposed to research and make a family tree ,"....."Damn , I feel sorry for you Zenitsu..".Nezuko patted him on the back.."Oh wait , and guess what... IT'S DUE TOMORROW!!!"..He screamed , then pinched the bridge of his nose..

"Don't worry Zenitsu , we can work on our project together , how about in the library after school".Kanao smiled..trying to be friendly to the possessive pervert.

"Just you? , and me? , alone?".He questioned with puppy dog eyes.."Nope....my older sister , Shinobu and Aoi is going to be there , but you can still come".She putted on a creepy smile, Zenitsu wore a frighten look , when he heard Shinobu's name , knowing well that she was nothing like the other girls.."In that case no thanks , I'll work on my project with Enmu"..He spoke..

"Seriously.. , with that pervert!?".Nezuko huffed.."Well they both seem like brothers , so who cares?".Kanao reassured as both girls giggled..

Meanwhile , Muichiro was done eating his pizza and after tasting one of the sugar cookies ,  he gaved away the others to Inosuke..who didn't hesitate to gobble it all up.. It's not that the cookies tasted bad but , it was too sweet to his liking...

He looked up at Genya who was now scribbling something on a piece of white paper.."Hey! , whatcha doin?".Muichiro tilted his head , gaining the other males attention.."Ummm , I'm trying memorize some topics in Chemistry and English class , I think you should do the same..".Genya suggested..

"B-But I-Its..Hard to study with this bad memory of mine!!".He whined..

"Hey!! , you wanna join our study group?"..Nezuko interrupted..

"Study..group?"..

"Yeah it's a group with all of us in it and we just do nothing other than study , well it's like a friendship group on WhatsApp that we have..We study , gossip people , send funny stickers and memes..etc.."..Nezuko spoke out happily..(Am I the only one who still use Whatsapp??).

"And we also go on long phone calls , like seriously long".Tanjiro chuckle at Kanao's statement..

"Oh?"..Muichiro , thought for a moment..

"Sure ,".."But I don't remember my phone number..."..

There was a long silence until Nezuko yelled...

"You don't what!!?".

"I don't remember my number..., O-Oh and I don't think I have a phone"..He finished his short statement...

Nezuko nearly had a heart attack as her jaw dropped , "Y-You.... DON'T WHAT?!!!".She yelled at the top of her voice , interrupting others who were either finishing up their homework or eating lunch and gossiping with their friends..

Her face turned red in embarrassment, as she felt everybody's gaze on her , she whispered a low "Sorry"..Then sat back down , covering her face with her hands..

"You know , you can come over my house to start prepping for the chemistry and English exam".Genya looked away from Muichiro as he said..

"Ohh? , We have a Chemistry exam?".He tilted his head cutely..

"Yeah , Mr.Kibutsuji said he's gonna give us a test Next week Monday and you have to study everything from last year September till now..I guess you forgot".Genya replied blankly..

"Ok then , we can head to your place after school?".

"Yeah , sure...Uhh you wanna come over too Kanao?".Genya asked , trying to be nice to his soon to be adoptive-sister-in-law..

"No thanks , Shinobu and Kanae will help me  study"..

"Umm ok.".

There was a comfortable silence in the group , they were either eating , on their phones or doing both.

Let's just say their glad they have each other , their glad they have company, their glad they have friends.
