PROLOGUE

Nagising ako sa hindi pamilyar na kwarto kinaumagahan. Alam ko agad na hindi ito ang unit ko. My whole body is aching as hell, too. And with that, I already know what happened to me last night.

Dahan-dahan akong napalingon sa nasa tabi ko dahil may gumalaw at muntikan pa akong mapamura nang malakas noong makita ko kung sino ang lalaki. Halos lumuwa ang mga mata ko sa panlalaki nito habang nakatitig pa rin sa kaniya. He's sleeping soundly beside me, looking so innocent.

I know him! Of course, I do. Who wouldn't know him, though? It was none other than Sim Jake. This guy is rich as hell, and smart. He's a hot nerd when we were in highschool. Who would've though that my hot nerd highschool crush was the one whom I slept with? Ganda naman ng pagkakataon.

I sighed deeply and carefully tried to move. Dahan-dahan akong kumilos paalis ng kama at maingat na nagbihis na. I am not planning to let him see me. Mamaya kung ano na naman ang ilait niya sa akin, 'no. Quota na ako.

When I sucessfully got out of his unit ay agad akong umuwi. Baka mamaya ay magising pa siya. Mas maganda na hindi na kami magtagpo pa ulit. This will be the last time that I will see that handsome face again. Hindi na ako magkakamali ulit.

"Miss Lei, wala na po kayong gagawin today after this shoot. This week will be your rest po."

It was my personal assistant– Issa. She was holding her ipad and checking my schedule through it.

I nodded slowly. "Okay. Thanks, Issa! You can go home and rest. See you next week."

Nag bow ito bago umalis. I just smiled at her and told her to take care.

Now that I have a free time, maybe I can go and have a vacation alone. I mean, I need to unwind and rest. Halos puno ang schedule ko lagi, and this free sched is a rare thing to happen. Kaya dapat kong sulitin ito.

I tried searching for a peaceful place to stay-in to. Maybe, I can stay there for four to five days. Tuesday pa lang naman ngayon and I have the weekends, too.

I chose to stay in a rest house in the middle of an island. Hindi ko kaya na maraming tao, because it is too exhausting. Gusto ko naman mapag-isa muna. Almost everyone knows me, kung sa simpleng lugar ako pupunta at maraming tao ay baka hindi na ako makauwi pa ng buhay.

Baka halos lahat ng camera nila ay nakatutok na naman sa akin, baka unting hikab ko lang ay nasa news na. I need a time out for that.

I was good mood the whole day because of my plans. I will surely use my free time wisely, and make sure to enjoy. Baka kasi pagbalik ko ay ituloy na namin ang ibang shooting ko, may mga interviews, at kung ano-ano pa na kailangan ay attendan ko.

When I got home, I excitedly packed my things. Nag reready na ako dahil mamayang madaling na araw ako bibiyahe paalis at pupunta roon. It was a beautiful rest house in the middle of an island.

It was owned by a friend of mine. Sabi naman niya ay walang gagamit no'n, and also, it's safe. Ang balita ko nga ay silang magkakaibigan ang may-ari no'n.

When I asked him if I can stay there for four to five days, he asked his friends first for permission. And of course, he asked them if they'll use the rest house for this week. Gladly, and luckily, they agreed and won't use the rest house.

I arrived at the rest house early in the morning. Sa pagod sa biyahe ay nakatulog ako agad pag higa ko sa kama. I feel so free and comfortable, right now.
