Topic: Angst + Fluff.
Setting: They were training together and they both noticed each other's old scars, either from training or self inflicted.
Todoroki was doing sit ups while Izuku was going between lifting weights and push ups. Todoroki glanced over at Izuku and he smiled, he sat up fully and he watched Izuku do a few push ups. He looked at his arms then his legs. He tilted his head slightly, he then frowned. He asked in his usual monotone voice, "Midoriya...what're those on your arms and legs? If you don't mind me asking of course." Izuku stopped mid push up. He lifted his head and he looked at Todoroki.
"Huh?" "The scars on your arms and legs...what're they from? They don't all look like their from your quirk." Todoroki said calmly. Izuku sat on his knees and tilted his head slightly. He then looked down at the floor. "I could ask you the same thing." Todoroki tilted his head before he said quietly, "Oh." Izuku got up from the floor and he sat on a nearby bench, he took a towel and he wrapped it around his neck.
Todoroki sat on the floor, he was silent for a good few minutes. Izuku noticed and he asked softly, "Todoroki-Kun? Are you alright?" Todoroki looked up at Izuku and he nodded his head slowly. Izuku gave him a look, the look basically said 'I know your lying'. Todoroki sighed. "Okay, your right. I'm lying.....I'm not okay but are you?" Izuku stayed quiet for a few seconds then he spoke up, "Yeah....I'm fine! Don't worry about me." "Izuku." "Y-yes?" "Your lying." "Okay....Maybe I am." Izuku said before he looked away, rubbing the back of his neck.
Todoroki got up from the floor, he walked over to Izuku, he gently grabbed Izuku's chin and forced the other one to look at him. Izuku blushes a little, "Todoroki-Kun...?" "Izuku, talk to me. What's wrong?" "It's....It's very complicated." "I'll listen." Todoroki says calmly with a smile. Izuku sighed and he gave a tiny smile. "You really wanna know?" "Yes, I really want to know." "Okay."
Izuku sighed before he explained his past, or getting bullied and dealing with mental health issues. He then looked away as tears fell down his face, Todoroki gently cup his face and wipes his tears away. "You're safe now, alright? There's no need to stress." "I got it..." Izuku said through sobs. Todoroki kissed his head, still wiping the others tears away. "You're okay, Izuku." "What about you?" "Well talk about me later...I'm worried about you right now."
