I sighed heavily, as today was my only day off this week and my mother was making me help her out at her old ass diner. I'm dressed in this hideous red checkered dress with a stupid apron on serving miserable old people trying to force a smile at each underserving person; As soon as I got behind the counter, I threw my head into my hands in relief of watching the last of the people leave the diner getting ready to close and Then I hear the bell go. I nearly rip my eyes out because how annoyed I was. I Made my way through the door and i stopped in my tracks when I saw who was sat at a table. David Loki my work partner. And the Hottest guy ever and he is seeing me like this. I cover my face with the menu as I walk over to him.
"Hey"I said nervous about what he'd say seeing me here.
"Y/n?" He said shockingly
"What are YOU doing here?'he asked me with a big grin on his face. I slapped my face with the menu begging to disappear in that moment.
"My mom works here she wanted me to help, is that so bad Loki" I asked him boldly
He threw his hands behind his head as I took the seat in-front of him. I took in his beauty before asking him again what he wants. He was staring right though me with a slight grin on his face still.
"Well?" I demanded
"Just a coffee, as you are closing aren't you?" He said smugly yet showing no emotion.
I roll my eyes at him and make my way to the kitchen as quick as I can so I can finally finish . I finish his coffee and hand it to him, taking another seat. Staring at his notepad I remembered something he said to me in the office awhile ago.
"Lokiii" I said dragging his name.
"mhm" he replied not bothering to look back up from his paper.
"Remember when you said I could start coming back out on jobs with you"I said fiddling with his paper work.
"No" he said with no expression at all.
"I didn't even get to ask " I shouted
"I don't care you messed with evidence last time"
he said in the same tone as always.
"Please I will stay in the car this time I promise" I whined to him. I crossed my arms and pouted my lips hoping it would make him feel bad, I'm sure he only felt embarrassed for me.
"Fine, but you don't leave the car this time!" He said strongly.
"Okay thank you" I said whilst standing up to half hug him.
"Let me get my coat and lock up I'll meet you in your car." I said whilst running to the back to shut everything of.
I quickly put on my long afghan fur coat on, locked the last door and prepared myslef for the rain outside. I ran towards Loki who was in his car, a lit cigarette in his mouth laughing at me. I thanked myself for bringing this coat as it hid the mess underneath me. I hurried into the car and reached for the lit cigarette.
"Give me that" I said talking it from his fingers.
He scoffed in response, he was about to say something until he was cut off by his radio. He quickly turned on his car and began driving towards the destination.
"Whatt two little girls have been kidnapped?" I asked shockingly.
"Why does all the fun stuff happen when I'm not in" I laughed. I looked at Loki to see he didn't find it funny.
"I forgot your not fun". I said rolling my eyes
"Sorry I take my job seriously" he said in his usual cold tone. I stayed silent as I didn't want an argument to break out, it seems every time we are together we find something to bicker about.
"Renember y/n what can't you do". He asked keeping his eyes on the road.
"Leave the car." I said.
"Why would you want to anyway look at the weather." He laughed.
"I wanna see all the drama." I said cheerfully
"Ofcourse you do." He said speeding down the highway.
We made our way around the corner into a parking lot. Loki parked his car and jumped out, looking back staring me in the eye.
"Don't get out the fucking car." He shouted
I didn't say anything in response I was too shocked by the way he shouted at me. I watched as the scene unfolded. There was a motor home in the middle of the parking lot, all of the officers had their guns ready to shoot. Loki took lead like always shouting for whoever to come out until the lights turned on and the vehicle drove straight for the tree in-front. It crashed and smoke became one with the air, I could even smell it through the car. Loki make his way inside yelling all was silent for two minutes before Loki came out with someone.

"Did he have the kids" I asked hurriedly as he entered the car. "No he said he doesn't know anything about them" he angrily said whilst lighting up another cigarette. I didn't reply. I sat there taking in the sound of rain hitting against the car, inhaling the second hand smoke. He passed me half of the cigarette our fingers barely touched yet I felt everything. He put his seatbelt on and began driving again. "Are you going back to work" I said to him I a light whisper. "Yeah, I'll take you home first if you want, I don't think you'd wanna show up dressed like that." He said laughing a little to hard then biting his lip. I slapped him on the arm for his comment, he thinks he's funny but somehow he's always right. "Yes take me home please id rather die than get seen like this" I said in a fake cry voice. He laughed in response and took me home. We reached my house and he told me to stay in the car, I was confused why until I saw him come to my side and open the door for me. That was unusual. I got out and gave him a funny look, which he responded with a smile, which was also unusual he never smiled. We walked to my door, before we reached it I made sure I pointed out my weird neighbour hes always there watching the flowers in my yard. We reached my door and before I could turn to say goodbye he grabbed me by the back of the neck and turned me. My body was tingling all over. I could feel my pupils dilating. He looked more handsome than ever his hair falling down in-front of his face, the way his lips naturally say in a grin. The little beauty mark just above the left side of his lip. All these things made a devilish man who wanted nothing other than to feast his eyes upon me. Id been staring so long I hadn't noticed his hand has moved to the front of my neck. My knees were almost week, the only thing supporting me was the door behind me and his hand. I could stare at him any longer I had to feast my lips upon his I was drooling at the sight of them. He looked from my lips to my eyes and back to my lips again before crashing his lips down on mine. I couldnt help my self I was hungry, starving even. I pulled his shirt up and scraped my nails up and down his back earning a groan from him. A sound I'll never forget. He had his hands up my dress squeezing at my hips. All entities had disappeared but us, we were alone in this moment. The nighttime was ours. He bit down hard on my bottom lip pulling it with him as he pulled away, our body's still pressed together. We didn't speak there was nothing to say, everything that had to be said got said in that kiss.
