Sorry guys it took so long, I've been super busy, but this is no where near the end.

Jc dragged me through the front door and I swept the water of the wet morning grass with my toes. We ran into the woods where the grass turned to moist soil.
“Where are you taking me?” I asked making wild guesses in my head.
“Wait here.” He said and I felt his hand slip out of mine quickly. His footprints trailed off.
“Jc!” I said getting scared. I couldn’t see my hands or the ground. “Where are you!” I yelled, but my own voice started to scare me and I felt abandoned.
“I’m right here. It’s okay.” I heard him approach me again. “Close your eyes.” He said as he walked me deeper into the woods. A couple seconds later he stopped. He removed his hands from my face and said: “Open.” I looked around and felt amazed. I saw Christmas lights hanging from tree branches around me, casting light on Jc’s beautiful face.
“You look amazing in this light.” Jc complimented, and for the first time in too long, I felt the butterflies in my stomach wake up again.
“You’re just saying that because you can’t see me.” I said hoping he’d protest.
“It doesn’t matter, you’re beautiful inside, and out.”
I felt my face redden. I looked to the ground trying to hide my smile.
“Hey, guess what?” Jc said. I looked up at him and he pressed his lips to mine. He wrapped his hands around my waist and I threw mine over his shoulders. It felt like rose petals dancing on my lips, and the butterflies turned into a tsunami that repeatedly crashed to the beat of his heart. I felt like I was floating, as my legs and feet became numb.
He pulled back. “I love you.” He leaned back in, but I could feel him smile beneath his kiss. He made me feel safe and tired, like I could fall asleep in his warmth.
