{Mindy's pov}

Jesus Chad move! I yelled as Chad brought the Christmas tree to Sam's house.

It's not my fault, it's the tree's fault! God Mindy calm down, Chad yelled as Sam opened the door.

Both of you calm down please, Sam said turning back.

As Mindy and Chad walked in Tara was in her room just laying on her bed staring at the ceiling, Chad set the tree down on the floor as Mindy sat down next to her girlfriend Zaira Orchid who was wearing black hollow pants and a purple sweater

Zaira where's Alora and Eden, Chad asked Zaira.

Oh, you know, Alora is buying pizza and candy, meanwhile, Eden is watching movies in her room being lazy with her boyfriend, Zaira smiled.

Again, I laughed.

Yes again, they said they needed to get ready to meet Eden's mom, but turns out that her mom's little brother got sick and she wanted to take care of him, Zaira explained.

Oh, well, I'm gonna check on Tara, Chad said as Tara walked out.

Hey, Mindy, Hey Chad, how are you guys, Tara said looking puffy in her eyes.

We're good, what about you Tara? You look puffy, I added.

That's what I said, no but seriously, Tara, are you ok? Zaira asked curiously.

It's cause our mom is coming back on Saturday and spending Christmas with us, Sam put in.

Oh, interesting...So who else are we spending Christmas with, Chad asked.

Well, my mom adopted this one kid, I think his name was Jake Wheeler, Zaira added.

Yeah, Danny's mom's sister adopted a kid too, her name is Lexy, Sam replied.

So his aunt? I asked teasingly.

Ok, yeah, sorry I wasn't thinking straight, Sam said.

I'll be back my mom's calling me, Chad said

Wait do you need me to come with you? I asked him.

I'll call you if Mom says she needs us both, Chad said walking to a corner.

Hey, guys, I'm back! Alora came in with pizza and candy in her hands smiling.

Hey Alora, how are you? Sam asked.

Same old, same old, amazing, Alora said setting the pizza on the table and grabbing a bowl to put the candy in.

Mindy! Mom needs us both, Chad said.

Ok coming, I'm coming hold on! I said walking away from everyone else.

Hurry Mindy I don't have all day, Chad argued.

Ok, what's up? I asked him.

I don't know, Chad replied

Mindy, it's me, your mom, I have a surprise that you need to pick up at the train station because it'll take 33 hours and 29 minutes for it to arrive, my mom said.

I hate surprises, I replied.

Oh, but I love them, Chad told me.

You'll both love it, I can guarantee it, my mom replied hanging up the phone after she said that.

What the? did she just hang up without saying bye? Chad asked angrily.

Yep, anyway, what do you think it is? I asked him

What? He said.

The surprise what do you think it is? I asked him again.

I thought you hated surprises, Chad said.

I do, but I wanna know what the surprise is, I asked sitting back down with Zaira.

What surprise? Zaira asked as I put my arm around her.

My mom says she has a surprise for me and Chad, I told her as I put on Stab.

Oh, that's boring since you hate surprises even on your birthday you hate them, Zaira said as she got closer.

Who wants pizza? Alora yelled out happily.

I'll get some in a sec, Chad said as he kissed Tara's forehead
